Sat in the waiting room at the animal hospital, I’m hoping for some positive news as they try to work out what has happened to our beloved cat, Don Pekoe. We’d worked extremely hard this week on that long list of little jobs that needed doing. Yesterday was an intense day doing just that. On the surface these are lots of small jobs but it is amazing the improvement they make to how we all feel living here. I was starting to feel positively happy with my progress until today when disaster struck. Don is very unwell and we don’t understand why. Since this morning, he’s unable to walk or properly miaow, shaking, low temperature and a strange chemical smell from his mouth. I was going to try and edit all the footage today in what already seemed an overwhelming, impossible task but with this unexpected event, I’ve come to the acceptance that this week it’s simply impossible to get the vlog out to you.
