There is something about Sant Pere de Ribes at night that brings out the feeling of history even more intently.

This is the route of my dog walk. It’s Calle Major which is a few minutes from our house.

The moon made the old buildings look so magical and beautiful and I was the only person around in a totally quiet street.

Before I took a photo of a photo at the museum which shows that these houses have the loggias at the back which is a good sign that it is an Americanos house built by a family returning from Cuba. Some of these still have painted scenes on I believe.

I love these houses and can’t but think about what they would have been like 100 years ago! Who would have lived there and the lives they are leading.

In other news some rather nice outdoor fabric samples arrived today as inspiration for the base cushion of the daybed we worked on. I will take a pic when I have better light

Ps Grandma Jenny returns on Friday for a few days. We can’t wait!

I wonder if the descendants of Los americanos still live in the area.
