25th May - the Rain in Spain! (Patreon)

So I am not normally excited by rain - but this rain is very. very welcome!

We have had one of the worst droughts on record in Catalonia and it was getting quite alarming with talk of major emergency water restrictions.(https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65129735 ) So it is a big relief for the rains to come down.

We have one of our three cisterns in operation for garden water and it is filling up very nicely indeed! A fee more days ahead of rain are expected.

In some parts of Catalonia the rain has been a bit too much today with floods and hailstones as well but thankfully not here. The hailstorm and lightning strike we had last August which brought our tree down across the road was very alarming - so we are hoping for no more like that!
