23rd March - bathroom update (Patreon)

The plumber came today. Sadly it looks like the lead pipes in the bathroom cannot be temporarily repaired. They also run under the house to the hot water boiler outside the kitchen. This means that to have showers and hot baths we will need to put in some temporary copper pipe work and a new small boiler. All a bit frustrating but unavoidable. We are waiting for the quote and I really hope it is ok as it is frustrating to spend money on something that is only for a year that could otherwise be spent on long term restoration.

On a happier note I wanted to show some photos of the ceiling from the Palau Maricel in Sitges. I don’t think I have ever seen a ceiling like it! It really catches the light beautifully!
