17th February - party time…. again!!! (Patreon)

Gosh the Catalans know how to live life! Just after the Festa Major it is now time for another party - this time the Carnival! I found out last year that Carnival means Carne Vale or ‘goodbye to meat’. It was the time to eat all the food in the cupboard before Lent.

We hope to see lots of Carnival celebrations this weekend (there are already celebrations in our square) but in the meantime Ophelia has been leading the way with dressing up for her end of half term Carnival celebrations! The dancers from the Sitges carnival came to visit so it was really fun! 

This lady had handmade her carnival dress herself.
