5th January- a dinner for 3 Kings (Patreon)

Very late night tonight as we had a lovely and unexpected invitation to got to a Three Kings Wve dinner in Vilafranca.   We are still getting used o the fact that festivities here go on until the 6th January and the 6th January is a really big day here. The Spanish and Catalans definitely know how to celebrate life.

A big highlight of the evening was the Rosca de Reyes cake. The person who finds the king figurine in their slice gets to wear the crown.

We were also delighted to see that our hosts had a painting by Jordi Santacana who we featured on one of our vlogs. It is of Casa Punxes in Barcelona which has the same name as our house.
