20 December - a lovely birthday (Patreon)

Today is my birthday. I am celebrating with a trip to one of my favourite art galleries. The National Art Museum of Catalonia a mere bus ride away. Jenny is my partner in crime today as Camilla is editing (though we are going for dinner later).

I wanted to photograph for you one of my favourite pieces - these tile ‘paintings’ - aren’t they glorious! They are by Joan Carreras and collaborators from 1905- just 6 years before our house was completed. I absolutely love them.
