November 3 - Magical steps (Patreon)

At the end of our garden is a very intriguing set of steps.  Steps going to nowhere!

What are they for? We have a theory they were for the children and young ladies of the house to talk to people outside at a time when going out into the street alone would have not been considered good etiquette (seems strange now!)

We like to think that sometimes they could have been used for talking to potential sweethearts but who knows! Certainly we have a suspicion that Allegria uses them to go and visit her new boyfriend!

Whatever they are for, we love them. They certainly add some magic to the far corner of the garden.
