9 August - Palm trees (Patreon)

Today has been a vlog preparation day - really hope you like it when it comes out tomorrow.  But I wanted to share this photo from yesterday.  Our house "Can Punxes". ('The Spiky House') was built by a family that returned from Cuba after Spain lost control of the island to America after the Spanish-American war of 1898.  Palm trees were planted in the square to remind all the returning families of their previous lives.  It is so lovely to stand on the balcony and admire the glorious view.  Thank you everyone for your messages - I hope to reply properly tomorrow.
