You guys did it! THE EXPANSE has won!

I am so excited to watch this series I have heard so many great things about it. However I have NO IDEA what it is about and I want to see it that way, and learn while watching the series.
This week I plan to start watching The Expanse so I can have reactions out to you all the week of December 18th!

Thank you all again for participating in this poll! And for your continued support here<3

nice! just a heads up, the first few episodes are mainly setting and lore introductions, it's generally considered ep4 is where it really lures people in. But I lured me in from the get go but I love sci fi.

2023-12-24 11:54:07 I've just subscribed to your Patreon after a long time subcribed on Youtube, as I deeply love both Band of Brothers and The Expanse, and I wanted to get every bit of reaction I could for them both, haha. I just want to say how excited I am for the latter, as The Expanse almost *can't* be appreciated enough. As a lover of Trek and BSG, I thought I'd already seen the peak of both exploring opimistic humanism and complex, "realistic" politics from a well-written Sci-Fi perspective through them, but The Expanse combined them in a package of high production quality that blew me away. Like many shows, it takes a minute to find it's feet, and it's not without flaws, but it's genuinely one of the greatest shows ever made, from a production point of view, and in it's messages and themes. Looking forward to the reactions, for all of us! :) One note I do want to make (I'm pretty sure this isn't a spoiler), is that the seasons structure deliberately does not align with the book structure; that is, a major story arc can end in the middle of a season, and a season can end in the middle of a story arc. So you can't relax into the assumption that some things can't happen yet at a given point in a season; anything can happen at any time. Fun! Sidenote, didn't you say you were doing MASH at some point recently-ish?
