[News] About the things these past months. (Patreon)

Hello dear followers and patrons.
Just want to tell you that this one will be kinda long with only text.

Thanks again for the support and attention you gave us these past years.
So I have talked about how Siluman Series kinda ended or should I say stopped for now.
Maybe continued when we have stable working hours.
Been 2 years since the case happened and I am really sorry for patrons and people that waited for our games and monster girls.

For these 2 years, I have tried to build new relationships with whose I hoped to be partners in creating games and content we love to make.
Though it's really not easy, as people come and go when they have other things to do or love or just frankly got scammed lol.

Just want to say that I am not only using the sales from the previous games, and from this Patreon to pay the people I am working with, I also work for other people's games as a sub programmer, troubleshooter, or maybe just consulting about stuff.
I want to give you guys the information about these great guys in a separate link later as maybe you have guessed their contents are also NSFW and interestingly the same monster girls content I love to be involved in.

Well, back to the topic.
There's a good deal of good news and a bargain of bad news.
Because I hate to have the bad news in the end let's start with it.
It was starting from September, there were around more than 7 people that I have paid for their work quitting.
The reason is simple actually, that covid waves are receding in my region.
So they go to college, can work in factory/offices again so they can just abandon the work they have paid if I may repeat, they said I am a poor excuse of developer that paid them so little... when they were the one asking for the price lol.
So yeah, much of the progress got stumped and needs to be called off.
I still wondering what to do with around 1000-2000 USD wasted because of this silly thing of an incident if I may say so.
Not much content created yet because I paid them in front for most of them btw.
Some just blocked me altogether, some trash-talked me and other devs in their circle, and only one refunded 150 USD for two years of work of one picture unfinished, the rest going MIA or well, still communicating a bit...
*Maybe covid got them as some actually going back and forth to the hospital even now.
So yeah, when I am writing this, actually covid got worsen again and I kinda "serve them right" feeling if they try to take commission again and if like people won't trust them for projects again....
that I kinda depressed being a bit happy about a petty thing.
I already said this is NSFW and for the game, so it's commercial from the start, but suddenly in the middle, they asked for 5 times more for being NSFW and 2 to 3 more times because it's commercial... so a total of 15 times their asking price was their calculator.
And it seems like it's the norm in their circle of friends so beware of toxic people that said only the sweet stuff until they got paid and backstabbed you for the other party that never pay for them only praise lol...
They said they like their character and after now they said they never liked to draw their own characters lol.
*too many of them lately even if I am to be careful of.
The fortunate thing that happened was I don't really need to do hard work to erase their works because they only produce less than 2 costumes on average.
Yep, that meant 1 picture/CG per month on average when I pay them for the full 7 costumes, and they still asking for the moon after paid for revisions and bonus when I liked it...
Only the role/background of the characters need to be deleted that I kinda sighed as it takes quite some time to write them.

The good things are, from those collections of toxic people I found some people that said they can help me till the end and for that, they are moving together with me in this house.
Or at least I hope so...
But yeah, I found a new pixel artist when I moved in too, still in training though.
Currently, I am living with the people I want to try trusting once more in this industry.
Yep in the same house, all males.

If we were that handsome, we would start our own Only Fans page.
Currently, we have 6 people in the house, 7 in March.
But most will go home again for a while for religious stuff for around a month or two in April or May.

As Cosplay Party will be a long way to go, I wanted the people here to have a comfortable life for working together.
So for three months before, I was letting them get comfortable with the new place and finding the needs they want to have a positive workplace.
Though like people said, life never goes the way you want it...
In the first two months, there were already 2 dramas that happened.

The first was that one artist getting offered for college around 2 weeks in the new place.
So in plus of I may need to send him home from my pocket and I need to cross one more character from the sheet when everything should have a good start.
Though after communicating and making sure everything is going well, he said to start work seriously now, first in making his own game first for he lacks the skills for absent from drawing for quite a long time and want to know how the game dev is done so he can contribute more to the studio.
Yeah, this house is already a mini studio I guess, I hope everyone becomes a good family.

The next was about well,
I found a Facebook post that the content does not bode well to this house and myself.
It was about how someone wants to leave while if I may say really holding negative views about us all... that we're rich people...
When a fun fact is, that I myself was a farmer lol.
Selling cookies and snacks door to door too in the neighborhood and cleaning gutter in holiday.
*also searching for coins in ditches while working as a gofer in my elementary school.
*Cough* so yeah, we talked about it and it seems like before it was just him stressed with the new environment plus his family member being needed in for hospital money.
Though it brings out my PTSD of the whole project falling out again because I need to reallocate stuff again and it is almost finished(with an additional pixel artist contract I need to suspend too).
For now, I want to see the content he's motivated in creating without my additional meddlesome input, and if he really loves drawing it after that I will give more of the Cosplay Party job to him again.

There are some others like in the months living together here while I paid them already and still paying for some of them especially meals, and basic needs. Some still prioritizing taking commissions from their friends and random people... in truth, it kinda ticked me lol.
But as long as their job went well I can tolerate it at least for now.
*If they prioritize the works for the house a bit more I would not say this at least.
**As I don't prohibit taking commissions, though I hope they include the house name lol.

Well, because of past lessons I think I can become more careful but what will future gives I wouldn't know.
I just can only hope, work towards my dream of creating games, and believe in others to have the same dreams working with me.
Or at least the ethics and morals of being responsible for their works.

There'll be more news about their games incoming as soon as possible we can give it to you guys on a ribbon.
