You weren't lying about ups and downs! Are they going to make her pray the footplay away? 😢

Wow this woman just can’t catch a break

I can't quite read that second top but the first one really works for this character.

Pretty short skirt for a reform school...

BoojumSnark

With her braids so long and her natural hair color back, how long was she at that reform school?!

Hahaha. Yeah, fuck that. Parents shouldn’t force their kids into anything without consent. If I had a daughter and she wants to be a TikTok star, I’d help her out as much as I can. I know there are people who say “Family are the people who made you”, and they’re wrong. Family is formed in the relationship that is built from trust and care. This woman is clearly happy, and if her parents don’t see that, they can fuck off. Sorry for the long comment, but I had an issue involving a parent. Great art as always. Keep up the good work.

I really love how in depth this transformation is! It's a genuine journey, not just a simple progression from Point A to Point B, but a whole story about how one person can change and become the supposed opposite of what they began as. It's also a really wild trip to read this at the same time as the webcomic Dumbing of Age lol

From my limited knowledge of the Young People, it is a band the Young People like

I agree, of course. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Thank you for sharing! Glad you're enjoying the story!

Once again, Smokey, you've nailed it! I'm fascinated by the ways people change. What are the experiences that make someone reevaluate their core principles and identity? This story was an attempt at documenting that process—instead of making an abbreviated meme about how "college turns kids liberal", I wanted to show what the entire journey looks like for this specific person. I'm so glad you zeroed in on that. (haven't read Dumbing of Age though, sorry!)

I was 12 when it happened. Don’t really give a shit. It’s not much of a problem now.
