Couple's Strength Swap (Patreon)

Tired of her boyfriend's forceful attitude, a witch steals his strength and size.

Something a little bit different, this week. This is the kind of transformation you'd "normally" see as a gender swap. However, the femboy aesthetic has been growing on me, lately. It was inspired by this Chesshire88 piece. I'd also like to draw a curvy MILF variation of this idea.

Coloring this gave me some trouble. Wanted to figure out how to get the right nighttime atmosphere. I liked the color palette in this stock photo:

But when I tried to incorporate the dark silhouettes and strong yellow lights, I wasn't able to create a strong, readable composition. The poses in panel 1 aren't clear and there's no good spot for a strong yellow light. Placing it to the side, either draws too much attention to the bedside table, or to the dude's triceps on the other edge of the panel, while frontal lighting would look like flash photography. I do like the green I used for the magic, though:

I worked on some other stuff for a few weeks. When I returned, I went back  to basics: I colored the entire thing in a single greyish-blue hue at three or four different values (light, medium, dark). That helped me achieve readable silhouettes and strong compositions:

However, it was missing the vivid blue of my first attempt, so I bumped up the saturation for the final image.
