Devi Lacroix wrote a short story based on Time Scientist Corrupted: check it out! I think they've done a wonderful job of expanding on the original, fleshing out the universe and protagonist's motivations.

Hope you enjoy! Rewind by Devi Lacroix.

oh gosh, thank you for sharing! Some cool facts: - I did my best to adhere to the headcanon points you shared. For instance, I dropped hints she's of Pakistani descent; "Alaya" is an Arabic girls name meaning High Status/Exalted/Sublime/Superb, and the "churel" she remembers her mother talking about is a type of ghost in North Indian/Pakistani lore. - Whoever on your Patreon suggested that the villainess' name should just be "Time" was a genius; I'd have never thought of it myself. It's perfect, in the same way that books with very short titles had better be THE definitive take on the subject. - I did my best to reference specific parts of the art, seconded to the protagonist's changing character. My main concern was being unable to nail the marked escalation between panels two and three, but I think I did pretty okay! Thank you again for letting me write a story based on this. It's maybe one of my favorite sequences ever—you communicate so many ideas and details in a deceptively simple and straightforward style.

I think you did an awesome job, especially at bridging the gap between two and three! It's neat that you reveal how she's started stealing ideas but also that she's been doing it for a while, implying the existence of many more "rewinds".

If anything, I wished you had expanded even more, showing more timelines in-between the ones in the image.
