September marks my two-year Patreon anniversary! What better way to celebrate than with a 4K remake of a classic?

I updated the outfits, and made the transformation run through all aspects of the image, from her clothes to her bag and drink. I went with cheerful instead of blank for a more dynamic, celebratory ending. Maybe next time I'll have her slow down from a power walk to standing absent-mindedly.

I used a similar technique as before. Starting with one pose, I made small changes to achieve the rest of the sequence. Back then, this method helped me save time and retain a character's likeness. Nowadays, drawing many different poses feels faster and more satisfying. It also makes for more compelling, looser figures. I also tend to avoid full face, frontal views, these days. The perfect symmetry feels uncanny.

The original was accompanied by a short description implying she's a supermodel slowly turning into a dumb bimbo. I ranked professions (lingerie model, pornstar, etc.) by vapidness which isn't something I agree with or would write today. The remake is more about a woman who discovers sugar and joie de vivre.

This will replace my Patreon homepage banner, soon. It's been more than a year since the end of "Who Will Be the Bimboest?", after all.

Wonder what my work will look like 7 years from now...!

Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed! <3

Oh wow! It's so nice to see how you've improved over the years!

Wow!! It's awesome to see how your style has changed! Any chance we could see the nine yards cover redone too at some point?

I think this was one of the first pieces of yours I saw on DA. I liked the progression and the little story.

lol, I bet she got that huge, overdone milkshake just to take tons of selfies with :P The phone was a really nice touch! :) "Maybe next time I'll have her slow down from a power walk to standing absent-mindedly." Oh, this is fun idea - not just for a remake, but in general :)

I like it. I notice that you've managed to keep the props in each hand the whole way through this time.

That's one of the main things that bothered me about the original, so I'm glad I did!

sortimid

Thanks! That's unlikely, it's not nearly as popular or representative of my work as Matter of Style.

I assume you've put lots of thought into the ethics of your work, and appreciate that. That said, part of the appeal of bimbofication is the embarassment of a smart, confident woman becoming a fun, dumb toy. For many of that type of woman, going from fashion supermodel to porn actress would be highly embarassing, and that's part of the fun. It's not commentary on the profession, but on that character's perspective of the profession.

sortimid

That's true. But in the original Matter of Style, the victim is unaware of the changes. We don't get her perspective, just the ranking.

Oooh, cool new banner! Was this planned out from the start or did you just sort of decide spur of the moment?

Did you make the comic with the intention of using it as the banner or did you only decide after that it would make a cool banner? Just curious :)
