As the lush trees are swaying by the wind, the sunlight, barely filtering through their leaves, is casting strange shadows around me. Now I see Route 14 in northern Kalos gives off an eerie vibe, even in broad daylight. Just like the rumors say.

The situation worsens when one of those dark figures begins to move by itself, raising both arms in a threatening manner. I grab a Poké ball from my belt, ready to fight, but soon I discover that the only threat on this trail is the boggy swamps' bad-smelling water.

"Hey! Yoohoo!" The living shadow walks out of the darkness to reveal its true identity; a young woman with pale skin that wears a black cobweb dress. She is waving at me with both hands.

"What a surprise!" I sigh, relieved. "You shouldn't hide behind the trees. There are wild Pokémon in the area. It could be dangerous."

"The Sun and I are not the best of friends." The girl approaches me, lacking any sense of personal space. "I preferred to stay there and wait for nightfall."

I find her answer unconvincing. Not to mention there is something peculiar about the way she speaks. Almost as if she whispers every word.

I have my reservations about that stranger, but it's getting late. And leaving her alone in the swamp doesn't seem right to me.

"I know you are not on good terms with the sun, but we should go to the nearest Pokémon Center!" I suggest. "It's a long way from here."

"It sounds like a good idea!" She lets out a mocking giggle. "After all, nighttime is when ghosts thrive."

"That's what people say!" I reply, heading to the next town.

I assume my new companion takes my advice and decides to follow me closely. Maybe too close since I can hear her footsteps right behind me. So once I start walking, I keep going without looking back.

"It is true!" The young woman agrees, soft speaking in my ear. "But if you're frightened by them, you should think twice before going out at this hour..."

"Don't get me wrong. Ghost-type Pokémon are quite scary. On the other hand, I think they're fascinating." I say, ignoring her liking for invading my personal space for the third time. "Most trainers are not aware of their virtues. Besides their combat potential, they hide unknown powers. Too bad I haven't been able to capture one yet!"

Despite my complaints, I have to concede that I am lucky. Traveling the length and breadth of Kalos with no other company than my faithful Pokémon is not that easy. Meeting a girl with such a gloomy charm is a pleasant surprise.

I also admit that her obsession with speaking so close to my ear is starting to arouse me. The lightest brush of her lips against it, almost nibbling on it, makes my dick grow harder and harder.

I don't want her to find out. But, without realizing it, I let myself be seduced by her soft breath, tickling my ear. I stay silent for a long time before I snap out of my trance. So I find the first excuse I can think about to keep talking without raising suspicion.

"I'm sorry!" I break the silence without stopping walking or looking back. "You must be thinking I'm rude. I haven't even asked your name! You can call me Anon."

I wait patiently for an answer that never comes.

"Has she noticed my erection?" I turn around to check if everything is okay, finding myself face-to-face with her, looking straight into those wide-open eyes.

I take a step back to catch my breath. I wasn't scared, just shocked.

"Is... Is that what you think about ghost-type Pokémon...?" The young woman lowers her head, twirling her dark hair with a finger.

"Y-Yeah!" I nod, rubbing the back of my neck.

"I knew it! Your love of the supernatural is as great as mine!" She sighs dreamily, grinning from ear to ear. "Our fates are entwined forever! I realized it from the moment I saw you!"

"Wait a minute! You are taking things out of context!" I gasp.

"Heh, heh, heh... You can't lie to me!" She holds her face in her hands, blushing heavily." The eyes are the windows to the soul, which means that when two trainers' eyes meet, they can see each other's hidden emotions and desires!"

"If two trainers' eyes meet, they have to battle! I'm telling you! You are taking things out of context!"

"Is that what you want? Fine! Let a Pokémon battle decide our future!" She continues her monologue. "If you lose, you will allow me to follow you wherever you go; but if you are the winner, you can do whatever you want with me!"

"I-I don't even know you!"

"Oh! Do you want to know my name?" The gloomy woman says as several pairs of glowing eyes manifest behind her with a wicked haze covering them. Then she begins to sigh heavily, clearly aroused, making it hard for every word to get out of her mouth. "My name is... Helena, and I am a Hex-Maniac...! Anon! Let's have a battle!"
