Swamp Life (Patreon)

Early Tuesday morning I'll be embarking on a journey to the largest wetland on the continent. The black waters of the Okefenokee Swamps. It is a 700-sq mile area inaccessible by car, bike, air, or foot. One must row a canoe. It's filled with alligators. I said "filled" because I meant it.
There are an estimated 13,000 of them.
<does math>
That's over 30 per acre.
<does math>
That's 1 gator per area equal the size of the upstairs of my home.
There's also snakes. 24 species of mosquitos. Oh and bears.
I'm going to try to make it to a place that nobody ever travels to, talks about, or takes photos of. It's called Dinner Pond and there's nothing particularly special about it other than how utterly inaccessible it is.
And then I'm going to record the noise there in the heat of day, during the afternoon thunderstorms, and overnight. Well, hopefully. lol.
Since I likely won't be anywhere close to the internet, my weekly stream on Thursday will be postponed to Friday or Saturday.
I hope this pays off with some amazing sounds! <3
