Just FYI once you're done with the series you should ABSOLUTELY watch the blooper/outake reel. It's hilarious.

"any final words?" "i have none...... ANYWAY YAPYAPYAPYAP-"

Miklar Sihn

3 episodes and the bloopes left. Trust me, you want those bloopers, they are perfect.

Miklar Sihn

I have to mention your BJ line last episode, as the episode title is quite close to referring to you alicia...

Depressed Duck Daddy

The Queen of Yap calling someone else out... how ironic lol xD

Miklar Sihn

Now we got the final showing of why people love Kimblee. He didnt give a shit about being eaten and being part of Prides philosophers stone. But the second Pride was a hypocrite, Kimblee steps in and tells him to cut that shit out. There are many... MANY bad and horrifying qualities about Kimblee that explain why he has to go. But he is always keeping it real and he doesn't take shit from anyone to anyone. He is the single most honest man in this entire show... Which i guess means that he is kinda embodying a virtue.

Sorel2020

RIP Ed Blaylock, Bradleys VA

I appreciate there is a good reason for the heroes to be able to keep using alchemy to fight Father at first when we know he can turn it off because he needs it on for the ritual but once he swallows God, he immediately turns it back off. Of course this show would keep track of something like that to remain consistent where others would have completely forgotten about something like this. The villain isn't messing around. If he has a useful power at hand, he just goes for it no matter how inconvenient for the plot.

KaijinGarou

Alicia be like "Bradley's phonetic stone ran out of energy". Nah but I think he is the best villain in the show. The MF even got the nerve to go in peace.

Remember all that time you spent wondering what hoennheim was doing instead of lokking after his children? Lmaoo yeah it was that

Daniel Gonzalez

This is my favorite OP of the series and its probably because of how they do the cold open in this episode

Favorite thing I remember hearing about Wrath came from an interview with the author. Basically they reaffirm his extreme combat prowess stating the only reason he was brought down was because his aging body was legitimately holding him back. If Wrath had been in his prime, nothing and nobody would have been able to stop him.

Daniel Gonzalez

Thanks for this Alicia know you hadn't been feeling your best on some days love this episode so many iconic scenes but Bradley talking all that shit and then getting blinded by the eclipse as if god was like enough already screw this guy but I feel its a testament to his badassery that not a single person calls BS when he grabs that blade with his teeth and stabs scar every single person is like yup that's exactly what Bradley would have done also RIP to that legendary VA think he was also the principal in YYH

CrazyChameleon

lol IKR I love alicia and all but sometimes when she stops right in the middle of a dramatic scene to make a 'you nut and she keep sukkin' joke I want to .. respectfully .. shove her face into a blender XD

Moku

Continuing to call Hohenheim a "Deadbeat Dad" shows a fundamental misunderstanding of this situation, and it's just plain insulting at this point. Are soldiers who are called away from their families deadbeats too, in your eyes? Family are one of the most important things in life, but sometimes, there are things of greater importance; it's not a great scenario, but it's a fact, especially if the longterm safety of that family depends on the sacrifice. It's not like he just went out to get some milk and never came home, and it's insulting to his character at this point to continue to infer that he loved himself more than he loved his children. Fifty million lives, versus his support for his family and his own happiness - not to mention the idea that his family would be included in that slaughter, or the knowledge of what Father would do to the world after that if left unopposed, or even the pain of the thousands upon thousands of souls that still remained in his own body.

Peter Gilmore

Bradley talks about where is his God but the eclipse ending and the glint of Sun that blinded him at that critical moment can be symbolic for divine intervention as well..

He starts MONOLOGUING!!! The guy has me on a platter, and he WON'T SHUT UP!!!

Yahroh

Father: I have absorbed god and swallowed up his power.

Yahroh

TD Jakes: HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SWALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!

Jacob Harmon

I think I gotta update my definition of “monologue” to anyone who says 3-4 sentences in a row- 👀

Brian Todd

2 more Ironic ends to the sins. First Lust was killed by a man in love, then Gluttony was eaten, Envy died when they were finally shown empathy and seen as an equal, Sloth was killed by the two body builders, and Now wrath died with a smile after being defeated by a man who has tossed aside his anger and hate, and Pride was defeated after tossing away his honor and what made him proud for the sake of survival, just to be reborn as something new.

Brian Todd

Kimblee showing up is just perfect for his character. One thing the Manga does better is explaining Kimblee's motivations. He is all about people sticking to their convictions. In Ishval it showed how much he respected the Rockbells because as Doctor's they refused their own safety in order to save others; as doctors should in Kimblee's mind. It's also why he scolded Hawkeye when she was doubting herself in Ishval, she had the resolve to become a soldier but when put onto a battlefield faced with the killing soldier's have to do, she was wavering. So when Pride abandoned his honor and beliefs for the sake of survival, it disgusted Kimblee so much he fought against Pride. He's a psychopath, but a well written psychopath.

So Mustang was always fighting nerfed.

And on this day, "Flask-ass bitch" entered my vernacular and will never leave.

Writing this as I watch soo ye.. If ya remember, in the War of Ishval flashback, Bradley mocked god to the leader of the Ishvalans and then this episode they say the eclipse. represents god. And what caused Bradley to lose? The Eclipse. God came knocking when he least expected it. I 100% believe Bradley genuinely liked, if not loved his wife, in his own way. Can we talk about the fact that Amestris had three country sized transmutation circles on it go off consecutively within like half an hour max? That had to caused *something* negative to country... right? Notice that when someone died during this arc, the commercial card showing them when they died was silent. As for Kimblee. He's the perfect representation of the "Chaotic Neutral" alignment I have seen so far in my lifetime.

I think Wrath loved his wife, well what passes for love in his mind anyway. He was a slave to the lab, but he saw something in her that he respected and liked enough to keep her and put up a mask of a kind husband. He also gets insulted at the idea that she might need help.

PrivateXimmy

I’d put greed as chaotic neutral. Kimble’s still a PoS through and through, he just doesn’t give a damn.

PrivateXimmy

Also it’s a great throwback to Bradley’s line when talking about Roy’s execution of Lust. Even when her back was against the wall, she never backed down tell the bitter end: never capitulated, never conceded. In Bradley’s eyes, pride is *conviction*, not arrogance. And yet the aptly named homunculus was willing to forgo that for shameless self preservation.

Kimblee be like: joks on you I'm into the s****.

Moku

She wasn't joking. Have you paid attention to her take on him at all?

Gavin Thomas

I love how Hoienheim gets the MC privilege of having the opening play for a badass moment
