I think what Fern meant with half her life is that she seemed to be about 8 when she met Frieren and is around 16-17 now. So she has spent half her life with Frieren. Apart from that, Eisen is one dedicated wingman. Not even the death can stop him from trying to wingman Himmel.

Yep, and when Frieren is saying the time she spent with the hero party was only 1/100th of her life, she means 10 years out of the over 1,000 she's lived thus far, not total life expectancy.
