I honestly think this is the best show of the decade just from the 13 episodes released so far. Every single thing about this anime i like. Not a single nitpick i can find! Every episode is a 10/10 banger. This had never happened to me before. I do not think I have watched a better anime in my life...Not even a decade really...

since when are elves super emotional? usually they're portrayed as distant and detached specifically because they live on a different scale of time, and being more attached to nature and stuff, i thought. at least all the ones i can think of. :o

The Eldar/Aeldari (Space Elves) of WH40K feel emotions stronger than humans (because they all have psychic powers), so much so in fact that their rampant species-wide debauchery birthed the 4th Chaos God Slaanesh into existence & doomed them to near-extinction.

A small tidbit of just how quickly time passes is that Frieren returned to the exact shop that she went to at the beginning of the flash-forward. Dude's an old man and we just saw him like 20 seconds ago. I love that they really try to capture just how insignificant time is for elves compared to humans

after the episode about heiter talking about if his daughter will become a mage, listening to frieren as a ref to raise his daughter came to play here, as frieren said "oh heiter knows his thing" and also why fern is so good at controlling mana from the beginning, Heiter listened to her and trained her as such.
