I can already tell people are gonna be mad about the corpo Vtuber comments when this hits YouTube lol. A bit overblown, none don’t allow you to date, a lot of Hololive/Nijisanji members are married or in relationships. It’s just because of the parasocial nature of the industry, most chose to keep that private. It’s not that they force you to fit some personality and everything is fake and calculated, just that the designs are made in advanced and the auditions are typecast for specific roles.

It's easy to tell that corporate Vtubers are manufactured because every one of them despises their debut streams because that's not who they are. Eventually, their real personalities blend into their manufactured ones to make a hybrid of what they're like and should be. That's why they hate their debuts because it's all fake without an ounce of them.
