The Force

My favorite thing about Aang's progression in this show is how you can see him take into mind each of the mental differences of each element as he learns them. Being Air he's very playful and free spirited. As he learns water he becomes more empathic and caring, something that wasn't sparing before but is noticeably more projected as he learns. As he learns earth he becomes more willing to stand his ground and directly fight back, becoming stubborn and willing to take things head on. Fire being more decisive and controlled, more passionate in his position as the avatar. Each showcased by the progression through the season and their ultimate conclusion. Directly attacking the earth king, connecting with the spirits, resolving the story. That's obviously a bit of personal interpretation but yeah

i like zukos sikness, becouse it shows why fire nation is so stubborn an pridefull. For them, changing their outlook on life defining believes is very risky, with even the possibility of death due to their bending killing them. so once their worldview is set as a child, the are very unlikely to change it

btw that arrow is a sign of an airbending master. thats why in the flashbak before he knew he was the avatar he didnt have them yet,but the older masters did.
