Jotaro doesn’t hate his mom quit assuming things and they’ve been showing you that Jotaro is truly a nice guy you two just failed to see it, shoot his mom has always known that he was a good boy like she said she always sees right through him just like any other mother does with their children, also for the last time he didn’t call her a bitch he called her hag or old lady which is what baba means which if you hear Jotaro’s exact words he said baba plus other translations don’t translate it to bitch.

This never gets explained in the anime, but rather a side novel, but the Stand Dio has that is similar to Josephs, it is Jonathan's stand, called the Passion. Araki has stated that Hermit Purple is like the embodiment of Hamon when it comes to stands, as hamon was used to predict futures and such. So Jonathan's stand is similar as well due to the Hamon. Also a stand signifies someone's soul. Its a visualization of ones soul, so Dio having Jonathan's stand could mean Johnathan is trapped in Dios body. Once again, this never gets touched upon and is just some more context
