[27/3: Now available for viewing by all Reward Tiers!]

"Open up dose ear-fins and listen up! Name's Master Mega, fastest shark on two legs! Unlike you inkboys and girls, I can swim in this here water, and rip through waves faster than you can believe! Now, dose pesky Salmonids don't scare us; me and my buddy are gonna make them into fish food! (it's ironic, 'cuz I'm a fish too.)"
"That's right, Master Mega! Thanks to his engine backpack, we can scope ahead and cook those Salmonids before they even set one fin on our turf. And with Big Runs happening more often, you'll get to see our jawesome abilities in action. Pedal to the Megalodon, Master Mega!"
"Pedal to the Megalodon, Shiv!

When I learned the name of Shiver's megalodon partner, I just knew I had to turn him into a Street Shark. His abilities remain more or less the same as when players faced him in the story, being able to swim and propel himself with the engines strapped to him (now repurposed into his backpack), but works best when he works with Shiver, his handler (who is in a clan of shark-tamers!).

In the 1990s, after the runaway of success of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, many, many, many imitators came out of the wood-works, aping the formula and merchandise to varying degrees of success. Street Sharks, both a cartoon series (from 1994-1997) and toyline stars four boys mutated into humanoid sharks, stopping the schemes of Dr. Paradigm - and a whole rogues gallery of other mutated people themed as sea-life (As it happens, it does include an eel and a squid, and one of the heroes' friends is a manta ray!).

Frye and her eel partner was a last minute addition, I wanted to have her join the fun - even if it involves heckling the Horrorboros...

Oops. Deleted my comment accidentally, damn Patreon, didn't even ask if I was sure and now I can't even recover it and I have no idea what I said. Anyway, there's something really 90's about Splatoon, so take that with the xtremely 90's Street Sharks and that really helps it feel even more 90's. Oh, and that logo with the Fresh Mix is really cool this time too. I just wonder how long it took to get all the details down on Master Mega, he looks like he took you awhile.
