Kinsley laid on the grass underneath a shadowy tree. Danni sat crisscross beside her.

“Woah.” Danni’s heart leapt, her pulse accelerating as Kinsley lift her hand. “She did it…. She actually did it!” Danni thought, looking at Kinsley’s hand hovering in the air. Her eyes darted back to the assignment in her lap. Scanning to the middle of the paper, she picked up where she left off. “Put your hand back down.” She commanded Kinsley. Her hand flopped down to her side. Danni couldn’t believe how quick the processed happened. Her eyes flicked back to read the next paragraph.

“If your classmate has followed these commands without hesitation, and they appear in a twilight state, then you have successfully hypnotized your partner. Great job! This isn’t easy to achieve. Hopefully this is the first of many successfully hypnosis sessions in your career.

In this unique state, you have access to portions of a person’s mind normally reserved for themselves. These are the sections you will focus on with your patients. This is the core of being a hypnotherapist. It’s critical to remember at this point that if your partner is under than it means they trusts you. This is a privilege that you need to respect. Trust is earned. Trust between the patient and therapist is paramount to your hypnosis skills.

Our next step is to access one of these reserved sections. We must be careful with this. We need to start small… literally!  A lighthearted section to access, when done right, is a patient’s earliest memories. Typically, you can find memories mirrored in silly embarrassment that are harmless enough to admit. Attempt to access one of these memories in your classmate. A strong hypnotic tool that can assist you here is to guide their mental conscious back into that time. Try doing that now. If you are unsuccessful then there are suggestion suggestions bellow.”

Danni put the paper down. Looking back again at her friend laying perfect as a board on the grass. The sunlight danced off her face as the leaves shimmered in the wind. Her cheeks were relaxed and soft. She looked so calm it would be rude to wake her from it.

“Kinsley, it’s time. Time to think back. Back now thinking, to a time. A… time in your life that was before now. Much. Much… Much? Before now. Back to when you were uh a… baby.” Danni said, grimacing at her suggestion structure. It felt so awkward she expected Kinsley to wake up and start laughing in her face.

Instead, Kinsley’s face relaxed further. The tension in her eyelids easing completely. Her lips opened into a small lazy oval.

“Yes! Okay. Keep going. You’re doing great. Keeping going back. Back all the way now. Go back, all the way to the point you were a baby. Back to the time where you were…. A baby. You were a baby now, and now you’re a baby again...” Danni stopped, still not satisfied with any of those suggestions. Nothing seemed to change in Kinsley this time. She looked the same. “Hm..” She thought, looking back at the paper.

“A good way to check and reinforce their headspace is to ask where they are. Do that now. For this specific trance, ask how old they are.” The script said.

“Kinsley… how old are you?” Danni asked.

“Hmmm….” Kinsley thought, she tried seeing the number in her head. Instead, it was floaty white fog. The scene in her mind cleared into tall puffy clouds and blue sky behind them. The idea of a number was difficult to fully rationalize. She knew there might be value to them. But remembering what they were, and what they meant wasn’t possible. It didn’t exist to begin with. However old she was, she couldn’t put a number on it.

“I’m a babyy.” She said, riding out the last sound. “Heh.” Kinsley giggled; exhaling out of her nose. The tips of her dark red toenails wiggled excitedly.

“She just laughed.” Danni thought, “…and smiling!?” Danni felt flushing adrenaline. Kinsley was a graduate student like her. Always composed. Seeing her act out a babyish expression was jarring. She looked back down at the piece of paper.

“To close out this assignment, ask your patient to recall a childish memory. One where they felt embarrassed for a silly act. Focus on this type of memory. Record that moment, then follow how to bring them out of trance.”

“Hm… okay, Kinsley now that you are a baby, I want you to think about a moment. A moment that was embarrassing…. As a baby.”

Kinsley's brow furrowed, and a subtle tension gripped her face as she delved into her subconscious. A core memory attempted to penetrate the sky in her mind. Her fingers clenched grass, the knuckles turning white.

Danni continued to speak softly, "You're there now, Kinsley. Can you see the scene? Can you feel the emotions?"

Kinsley saw the clouds in her mind fade into a memory. She knew the memory that was coming, but she didn’t want it. Her struggle became evident as beads of sweat formed on her forehead. She hesitated for a moment, a flicker of discomfort crossing her face. She couldn’t stop it. The memory was too strong. It demanded to be seen.

She finally whispered, "Yes, I... I see it."

Danni's voice remained soothing, "Very good, Kinsley. Keep going. You’re there, now. Right there. This moment is real. I want you to describe that moment to me. What's happening? What are you feeling?"

Kinsley's voice quivered as she recounted the memory, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. The clouds in her mind disappeared completely, hardening into egg-shell white walls. She stood hunched at the end of the main hallway in her childhood home. The shaggy carpet tickled beneath her feet. Her legs were crossed together, trying to ease the burn. Intense throbbing pain radiated from the inside of her bladder’s walls. It was unbearable. A single step forward could topple her precarious control. Her eyes darted around, looking for the bathroom, but she couldn’t find it.

She heard it. The sound of footsteps around the hallway corner. Kinsley knew from their cadence that it was her mother. She bit the top of her lip. The moment her shape appeared from around the corner, hot pins and needles panic stabbed beneath her skin.

Her mother stopped walking the moment they made eye contact. There was a subtle, knowing look in her mom's eyes. She could sense Kinsley's discomfort. She tilted her head to the side, then folded her arms.

“Kinsley? What are you doing?” Her mother asked from down the hall.

“N-Nnothing Mommy! I not doing anything…” She uttered. Her cheeks flushed a deep shade of pink as she tried to maintain eye contact with her mother. The fear of her mother’s reaction seared her bladder muscles. It was too much.

They failed.

Kinsley broke eye contact. Looking directly at the floor. Hot pee involuntarily splashed in between her legs.

“Kinsley!! You better not be doing what I think you’re doing!!” She yelled, stomping big adult steps down the hall.

“N-nnno Mommy! Mommy please! You no come!” Kinsley yelled; she couldn’t stop it. Her bladder possessed a life of its own. Pee cascaded delicately through her body. The edge of the circular wet stain splattered. The splatters streaked. All at once a sudden wet wave dumped out of her. Thick wet streaks rolled down her skin. They clung wet to her pants. Her mother walked up to her.

“You better not be- Uh! Oh my god. Great. You’re such a- ugh- Kinsley!! Seriously!? Again!? It’s all over the carpet! I thought we were done with this!!” She said, her anger getting worse. Kinsley felt it burn her. Excruciating shame pummeled her self-image. She felt stupid. Like a two inches tall toddler. Instead of holding back anymore, she just let the rest go. The inside of her PJ pants darkened completely. It felt so vivid. Her mother grabbed her hand, pulling into the bedroom. She knew where they were going. The little tears in her eyes grew into full drops.

“No Mommy NOO!!” She squealed, her mother sat on her pink princess comforter. She easily threw Kinsley over her legs. The waistband of her pants pulled down. She closed her eyes then clenched every muscle in anticipation.

*SMACK* She felt searing stinging pain.

“OWW! MOMMY STOOWWWPPP!!!” Kinsley screamed.

“The day we stop using pull-ups and you do this!? Are you going backwards again!!?” She yelled into her face. SMACK. Kinsley whaled. “You’re too old to be doing this!”

Danni was frozen in shock. Kinsley was acting out the entire scene. Howling at the top of her lungs she was sorry for wetting herself. Her shorts were drenched. Everything in her bladder had evacuated the moment it did in the memory. People walking by looked baffled.

“It’s okay, Kinsley! Calm down! It’s okay!” She yelled, trying to calm her down.

Kinsley felt her memory shift.

“Is this what you want!? Hm??” Kinsley mom said, holding a diaper in her face. “Do you want to go back in diapers??” She yelled, but Kinsley started feeling different. Reflective of her mother’s changing demeanor. Her expression stopped being so angry. Instead, her face softened. Melting from furious to an understanding posture.

“Hm? Is that what you want to do, Sweetie? It’s okay. Do you want to wear diapers instead? Is that why you keep wetting yourself?” Her mother asked, the diaper closer to her face. The shear embarrassment made something snap. She followed it, changing the memory to the way she wished it went. The diaper made everything better. All that yelling wouldn’t happen anymore. Her mother wouldn’t have been mad if Kinsley wet her diaper instead the floor.

Blubbery and raw, Kinsley nodded. Her frown easing into a soft smile.

“Yeah? That’s why you’ve been going potty so much? It’s okay! You can wear diapers again!” She said, picking Kinsley up and hugging her up into a warm embrace. She kissed her forehead. Her chest felt warm. Everything was going to be okay. Pivoting her over the bed, she gently laid her down. Kinsley smiled, for the first time ever, she felt happiness from this memory. The relaxation from the trance deflated her stress. Her heart gravitated toward the infantile safety. She nodded up and down.

“Yes, Momma. I wanna wear diapors again.” She said, finally admitting it felt blissful. Looking up at her mother, her mind followed that feeling. She knew this was a greedy childish decision. That only pushed her mind further. She made grabby hands up at the diaper. Her mother looked lovingly down at her, chuckling soothing laughter as she lifted Kinsley’s legs up.

Kinsley’s mother slowly slid the diaper underneath her butt. Letting her legs fall down, she felt her skin contour around the soft padding. It felt warm. She lifted the front of the diaper up and over, placing it over her stomach. The bulk felt like overstuffed underwear between her legs. Kinsley flexed her legs, she couldn’t press them together. The sticky tabs anchored into place, making her diaper snug.

“It’s okay, Kinsley” Her mother said, patting her diaper. She thought about what it meant, wearing a diaper. “It’s okay!” She said, louder this time. Her brain felt funny. It was going in hundreds of different directions. She couldn’t comprehend what was going on in her mind, she could only experience what was in front of her. The room was getting bright, her mother’s face darkened. Intense light started glowing on the ceiling. The room became engulfed in it, blending into sky. Her mother’s face was contorting. Changing into someone else.

“Kinsley! Are you okay??” Danni said, kneeling down next to her.

“Aghh…” Kinsley said, pulling her hand up to cover the sunlight. Her eyes winced from how intense it was. She could feel her consciousness pulling back into reality. All that focus on her crotch, it felt different again. Instead of feeling bulk, she felt cool and wet. It pulled her back into the real world. “Whaat?” She said, leaning up, vision coming into focus.

“You wet yourself. What happened?” Danni said, supporting her friend’s back. Kinsely couldn’t think of the right words in the moment. Her mind lagged in childish inertia. She dug two hands in between her legs to survey the extent.

“I went potty…” Kinsley said, speaking more matter of fact. The feelings of relaxation from her flashed. She wasn’t scared. Instead, she let her muscles relish in the feeling. She smiled, looking up at her friend. Danni smirked.

“You had an accident!” She said, poking fun. Kinsley laughed and nodded.

“Mhmm.” She said, taking her friend’s hand to lift her up. She looked down, due to the position of her body, her entire crotch and butt were soaked.

“Come on, let’s get you back to the apartment so you can change.” Danni said, holding her hand, guiding her across the green.

“Yeah! Haha, great idea.” Kinsley thought, feeling the beamy happiness before in her chest as they walked across. Settling back into her normal mindset, she eventually let go of her friend’s hand once they were halfway there. She noticed all the stares and points toward her wet clothes.

“It’s okay.” She thought instinctively.

The living room bathed in a warm morning glow, a mix of the golden sunlight streaming in from the window and the soft, ambient lighting of the room itself. A few plants on the windowsill stretch upwards, casting gentle shadows on the wall. The scent of lavender permeates the room. Neatly arranged on a wooden desk are several of Kinsley’s books on hypnotherapy, some with bookmarks sticking out - evidence of recent and frantic studying.

Kinsley, dressed in a crisp white blouse and black skirt, is seated in a swivel chair, trying her best to project confidence. She repeatedly adjusts her glasses, a subtle sign of her nervousness. A silver pendant shaped like a pendulum hangs around her neck, resting on her chest, catching and reflecting the light. She glances again at the assignment discreetly placed beside her, taking a moment to steady her breathing and mentally rehearse her lines.

Opposite her, Danni is comfortably seated in a plush recliner. She holds back a chuckle at how serious her roommate takes this.

Clearing her throat gently, Kinsley begins, “Alright, Danni. I want you to focus on your breathing. Deep, even breaths." She demonstrates, her own inhale a tad shaky. "With each breath, let your body become more relaxed."

Danni nods, her eyes betraying a hint of amusement but following the instructions, nonetheless.

Drawing from her notes, Kinsley continues, "Now, I want you to picture a gentle, cascading waterfall. Can you see it?”

Danni nods again, though her smirk suggests she might be imagining something a bit more whimsical than intended. “She’s trying so hard…” Danni thinks to herself. Vaguely recalling a waterfall, she saw on Instagram a few weeks back.

“Yes.” Danni says. She opens her eyes.

“I.. can’t tell what she’s doing? Why is she trying to stay awake??” Kinsley thought, she looks down at the assignment again.

“Relaxation is the key to entering trance. If your partner’s mind is on the outside world, they will not focus on trance, and therefore the suggestions you give them. Picturing landscapes are a natural way for us to enter a state of relaxation. Do that now in the beginning of your trance induction.”

“Hrmf.. okay, let’s try something else.” Kinsley thinks to herself. She clears her throat, her voice taking on a melodic tone, “Danni, imagine you're standing at the edge of a serene lake. The water is calm, reflecting the colors of the setting sun. The world feels still and peaceful, and with every word I read, you find yourself sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.”

The atmosphere grows heavy with anticipation. It seems for a moment that Danni might be succumbing to the trance. Her eyes glaze slightly, and her breathing deepens. But then, a sudden chuckle escapes her lips, breaking the spell. “Sorry, Kinsley,” she giggles, “I just remembered a joke from earlier today.”

Kinsley’s shoulders drop a little in defeat, but she tries to laugh along, maintaining her professionalism. “It’s okay, Danni. It’s all part of the process.” She forces a smile, determined not to let her inexperience deter her.

Kinsley begins, “Danni, I want you to focus on my voice. You trust me, right?”

Danni nods slowly, “Yes.”

Determined, Kinsley unhooks the small pendulum from her neck. Even though it’s not in the assignment directions, she had seen it in numerous hypnosis videos and decided to give it a try. Holding it up, she begins to swing it gently. “Focus on the pendulum, Danni. Notice its rhythm, its consistency...”

“No way she’s doing this! Hahah…” Danni laughs in her head. She follows along. Attempting for a moment to genuinely concentrate. Her gaze fixes on the mesmerizing movement. Encouraged, Kinsley's voice grows more assured, “As it moves, allow your mind to drift, to float, becoming weightless...”

“I’ll humor her.” Danni thinks, allowing herself to fall into the couch. Her muscles ease, letting them rest into the couch cusions. Her head rests on a pillow. Eyes closing, she lets out an exaggerated sigh.

“!!! It’s working!!!” Kinsley thinks excitedly, her eyes lock laser focus onto the assignment now.

“If your partner has followed the suggestions, then it is time to check if they are in trance. An easy way to do this is to give them a command. Commands at this stage of the trance are critical. Using kinetic commands (commands that move their body) can help them go further into trance. Moving the body in a suggested way helps the mind understand someone else is in control.

Command your partner to lift their hand into the air.”

Kinsley re-read the paragraph two more times. Taking a steadying breath, she looked up at Danni. She looked content. Hands together on her chest. A happy smile on her lips.

“Danni, lift your left hand into the air.” Kinsley said.

“She’s going to think she’s doing so well.” Danni thought, lifting her hand into the air. Kinsley inhaled fast enough out of shock that it was a borderline gasp. She felt an air of confidence boost her. She re-read the directions three times before continuing.

“Danni, relax. Listen to me. Listen exactly to my words. You’re going think of something for me. I want you to think about youth. You are allowed to think about childhood in a way you don’t want to. You are safe here with me. I am here to help you. Trust me.”

A silence envelops the room, disturbed only by the synchronized breathing of the two women. Slowly, Danni's facial muscles start to tense. Her lips quiver. The memory starts to surface. The posters from her teenage room surround the walls of her mind. It’s powerful. She winces, trying to push the moment away like she normally does. But this time, it starts playing in front of her.

Danni blinks another mascara-soaked tear out of her eyelashes. It rolls down, cooling her warm cheeks. She sniffles, clearing her nose before hitting the call button.

*Ring*

*Ring*

*Ring*

“Hey, Danni! How are you??” John answers the phone enthusiastically like she expected him to. She bites the bottom of her lip before responding.

“Um.. I need to tell you something.” She says, her tone is dreadful. Clenching teeth, feeling the words in her head push icy anxiety into her fingertips. It’s hard to breathe let along speak.

“Okay… what is it?” John says, starting to reflect Danni’s tone.

“I’m pregnant.” Danni says through the receiver.

“Hm.” John says.

“Well, what do you want to do?” He asks.

“What can we do?” Danni says. The crashing wave of tears that follows knocks her mind into a thrashing pool of emotions.

"Danni, I'm here with you," Kinsley assures, maintaining a calm demeanor. “What’s wrong, Danni? I’m right here. Talk to me. Tell me what you see.” Kinsley says, leaning in closer.

Using Kinsley’s voice as a rope, she pulls out of the memory, ejecting back into the present. It’s too much to feel. Danni sees the inside of her mind. “She still thinks I’m under.” She thinks, thinking on her feet.

“I… see my mother.” She says, feeling the guilty thrill from hypnotizing Kinsley before rise in her chest. “She’s chasing me. I-I’m running around the house. She knows I wet myself. I don’t want her to know.”  The fascinating feeling grows all at once, taking over completely. She keeps lying, “I’m peeing myself, and I can’t stop it. I don’t want her to know.”

“Oh…” Kinsley says, feeling a pulse of tranquility wash over her consciousness. The room feels less focused. Danni’s description builds in Kinsley’s mind. She sees her own mother, chasing her around the house. It’s not the same memory she experienced on the green. It’s an amalgamation of multiple memories. “Keep going.” Kinsley says.

“She’s chasing me. My pants feel wet. I don’t know what she’s going to do if she gets me.” Danni says. Kinsley sees it in her mind. Her own mother chasing her around. The diaper wad between her legs feels warm and mushy. It’s a constant reminder rubbing between sensitive skin. It brings back shades of the fear from before.

“She’s getting closer, I can feel her right behind me. She’s about to grab me. Her hand comes out, she gets me.” Kinsley feels her fear peak, fingers clenching the armrests. “She turns me around... but she doesn’t look mad.” Danni says, peaking an eye open just wide enough to see Kinsley gazing into the wall. Kinsley’s lips open to teeth clenching. It was the same look she had when she was under. This time, Danni knows what she wants to  do. It’s a conscious choice to be manipulative. The power was delicious.

“You wet yourself! Great job! Mommy is really happy you peed myself.” Danni says, Kinsley’s expression starts changing. Pulling from tense to a growing dreamy smile. In her head, Kinsley’s mother is talking directly to her.

“Good job wetting your diaper, Sweetie! Wearing diapers again was a really good idea, huh?” Kinsley’s mother says. Kinsley just nods up and down, easily letting the happiness fill her instead of the decrepit fear from before.

“It’s okay to pee yourself, Kinsley.” Danni says. Kinsley’s right eye twitches. Her head cocks to the side.

“What…” Kinsley thinks, things in her mind start feeling strange. It was weird to hear Danni say that. “…. Is happening? What did she just say?” Kinsley thinks, it wasn’t just in her head, her lower abdomen felt different. Like a hand was pressing up against her skin. It was uncomfortable.

“Woah, it’s okay if I pee myself.” Kinsley thinks, linking the feeling right as pee pushes up against her controlling muscle. The pain pinpoints in between her hips. It’s sharp enough to illicit a reaction from her brain. “I pee myself.” Kinsley thinks, seeing her mother nod up and down, a physically impossible, comically huge smile on her face. It makes it better than okay. The release of jetting pee into her blouse feels warm and wonderful.

“It’s good to pee yourself.” Kinsley hears, that puts her mind on a different plane. It feels like her brain starts riding a boat over golden warm water. The bottom feels warm. It influences the image on her mind. A yellow hue glows beneath her mind’s eye. She lets out a sigh, just relishing in the amazing feeling of relief tickling inside her.

Kinsley’s pee soaks immediately into her blouse, then directly on the leather chair. It rolls into the compressed seat underneath her legs. The leather is mildly waterproof. Some of it absorbs through the stitching then into the cushion. Most of it flows off the leather, and onto the floor. The sound of dripping water bounces off the wooden floor below. It generates splatter pools.

"I can't believe it," Danni whispered, a giddy smile tugging at her mouth, her hands fluttering to her chest in a gesture of amazement. Her eyes looked astonished. A soft, incredulous laugh escaped her lips as she shook her head in disbelief. As moments passed, the pee in Kinsley’s bladder dwindled. The force behind it lessens, turning the once-steady flow into a sporadic trickle. It slowly tapered off, wanning to just a few final drops before ceasing completely.

Kinsley lay suspended in a serene space. The weightlessness of her emotions made it seem as if she were drifting atop a cloud. The intensity began to reseed as reality started to seep back in. Grounding herself, Kinsley held onto the fading tendrils of that blissful feeling, cherishing every last trace before it dissipated entirely.

Kinsley's initial moment of relaxation was punctuated by a sudden awareness of the swamp beneath her. Her face flushed with a mild discomfort, the sensation unfamiliar and out of place, especially in the confines of her professional setting. It wasn't anger or deep embarrassment she felt, but rather an unease.

“Did I just wet myself?” Kinsley thought, the realization dawned as she shifted subtly, gauging the wet feeling underneath her legs. Danni, sitting across her, looked directly at her. The happy smile on her face helped suppress embarrassment.

“What happened!?” Danni said jovially. Kinsley felt like being caught off guard, suddenly thrust into the limelight for an unexpected and slightly embarrassing performance. Her eyes darted around, hoping Danni couldn’t read her silly humiliation, but the heat on their face was a dead giveaway. She folded her hand over lips to hide the sheepish grin.

“I don’t know….” Was the only defense Kinsley could come up with.

“Did you have an accident on the chair!?”

Kinsley's laughter bubbled up, spontaneous and uncontrollable, a blend of sheer delight and cringing self-awareness. Every giggle and chuckle seemed to amplify her playful embarrassment, and she found herself covering her mouth in a futile attempt to stifle her outbursts. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of mischief and surprise, as if she herself couldn't believe her own reactions.

“Noooo…” She tried to say without laughing. She knew it was a thinly vailed defense.

“Then what’s all this pee pee doing here!” Danni said, pointing at the puddles that had formed below. Kinsley curled her legs up in defense. The lukewarm pee swished into different positions. She put her hands over her eyes to try and hide from the barrage of teases.

“Come on, we need to change you out of that blouse.” Danni said, standing up and extending her hand. Kinsley noticed her warm cheeks, the weight of her predicament settling in. Kinsley hesitated for just a split second, her eyes meeting Danni's in a silent plea for understanding. Swallowing her pride, she placed her hand in Danni's, feeling the reassuring grip. With a gentle pull, Danni helped Kinsley rise from the office chair.

“You did a good job.” Danni said, guiding her down the hall. “This is the second time you wet yourself this week. Do you think you have a problem?” Danni said.

Kinsley’s initial fear was evident, manifesting in a slight widening of her eyes and a trace of vulnerability. Her cheeks tingled, and her lips pressed together in a thin line. Beneath those surface emotions, it was as if a tiny spark had ignited deep within. Kinsley kept it hidden, burying it beneath layers of more immediate, palpable feelings.

She couldn’t tell if that feeling had always been there, or if it was something new growing inside her mind.

Kinsley and Danni’s shoes clacked down the hallway. They passed by cork boards plastered with colorful paper announcements and office entrances. The clock hanging off the ceiling read they were 1 minute early as they turned into the classroom.

“We always make it here just on time.” Kinsley joked to Danni, finding their unassigned table in the back left of the room. They pulled out the swivel chairs and sat down. The class buzzed with low chatter. Serena walked up from behind them.

“Hey you two. I’m collecting the homework.” She said, standing in front of their table, clutching a vanilla folder up against her chest. She was tan, with a volleyball body. Shiny long black hair tied up into a ponytail. Danni realized her mistake.

“Crap! I forgot to fill out the rest of your paper.” Danni blurted out, shooting a glance at Kinsley, but then looking up apologetically to Serena.

“Her paper? You’re partners in this assignment, but Kinsley is supposed to fill out her own.” Serena said, piecing the situation together.

“Uh, yeah. No, we know that. I guess I thought you were supposed to do part of it?” Kinsley said, knowing that didn’t make sense.

“So, you don’t have a completed version of your homework?” Serena asked, her voice not upset but pointed. Kinsley drew a deep breath, genuine remorse evident in her posture and expression.

"I truly apologize," she murmured, the weight of her disappointment in herself evident in her voice.

“Okay, if you get it to me by five today, I won’t count it as late. Please get it to me.” She said, grabbing Danni’s paper off the desk. She walked away and sat at the table behind them.

“I’m sorry.” Danni mouthed, to Kinsley as the professor finished writing on the board. Turning around he spoke in a tempered old tone. White hair frayed around his bald patch. Scratchy white hair on his neck and face. He gave a welcoming gesture.

“I hope everyone had a great weekend. I’m very excited to hear about everyone’s experiences with this assignment. I thought I’d talk first about some of the concepts to keep in mind while we go around the room.” Professor Gerald spoke, pointing at the board.

“We need to keep your goal in mind. As a therapist, your job is to guide them on this journey. They are the masters of their own wolrd. You want to lead them to search in their lives for specific moments that are important to their story. Let’s start going through some of these now.” He said, pausing to look around the room, “Austin! I know I had to pick on someone. Why don’t you start first for us. We’ll snake around the room.” He said, moving his pointer finger in a zig-zag motion around the room.

“Well, I had Ron as my partner. We thought the experience went, well? I’d say so. We had to try it twice. The first time I didn’t feel anything, but the second time I was able to get into a it a lot better. Let’s see what did I write down…. Yeah, I guess I talked about this time when I was a kid and I dropped a cake on my face. It was really funny.” He said, snickering to himself. A few others chuckled along with him.

Kinsley was one of them. Exhaling hard enough that she noticed a feeling in her body. An irritating amount of fluid swashed inside her bladder. The feeling fired random thoughts to whisper in the back of her mind.

“It’s okay.” She heard. She didn’t dwell on it, instead focusing on Austin’s story. The feeling budded up against her. A twinge inside her almost let go, but instead, she clamped on reflex.

“No.” Kinsley thought, shaking her head as if it were obvious. “Not in class.” She thought, having to put it in the back of her mind as Gerald spoke up.

“Excellent! That’s exactly what I’m talking about. Did you think about that memory much before?” He asked.

“Not really? I guess I remembered it instantly, but not something I usually thought of.” He said. Kinsley felt it again. It was half-way between a background conversation and on the forefront of her mind. “It’s okay if it’s a little.” She rationalized to herself.

“Okay.” She heard pop in the background of her mind.

The tips of her muscles loosened. Beads of pee slipped out between. It was the gentlest of trickles. On reflex she closed, stopping it to a single drop eeking out. It held for a few seconds, before breaking again. This time opening to a full slit. Tablespoons of pee started pouring out. The sudden bloom of warmth in between her legs yanked her attention away.

“Ah!” She whispered, trying not to make any sudden movements. She clamped down hard. She looked down, her pants had a noticeable wet stain between her legs. It could be hidden in passing, but was clearly in the center of her pants. Unsure of what to do, she looked over at Danni. Nudging her.

“What?” Danni said, reading her oddly desperate look. Kinsley made a motion with her head to look down. “Hm?” Danni thought, looking down, in sharp contrast she saw the round dark stain.

“Oh my god.” Danni uttered, low enough so only Kinsley could hear it. Moving fast, she grabbed at the arms of Kinsley’s flannel. Kinsley followed, letting Danni do most of the work. “Here, lift your butt.” Danni said, snaking one of the arms behind Kinsley’s back. She brought it around, then tied the two around tightly around her waist. “Follow me.” Danni said, motioning for her to get up like she was. The chairs didn’t scrape. They were in the back, almost nobody saw them.

Except for Serena, as Kinsley turned to walk out of the room. The teacher’s assistant looked right at her blushing face. Reading the strange look, she naturally looked at the shirt tied around her waist. Then the accident. Serena recoiled visibly in shock.

Kinsley picked up the pace. Immediately they were back out in the well-lit hall. No one was in there except for them. They didn’t hear the door close behind them.

“Hey!” Serena’s voice yelled. The two froze in place. They didn’t move. Serena walked behind them. It was no use, they turned around. Serena walked directly up to Kinsley. She pointed at her wet stain but looked at Danni.

“What did you do to her?” She yelled, her sharp voice resonating through the halls.
