You know employee training courses offer some interesting possibilities. I can imagine a girl stuck constantly transferring from department to department. Constantly having to be retrained slowly regressing as the tasks and responsibilities expected of her get dumbed down more and more, till her job is just attending the company day-care for special employee's like her and being good when mommy is in a meeting.

One I pitched to someone else that didn't get used, but I still like: There's a pair of nerdy friends, and one of them is jealous that the other has always seemed to be one step ahead of her. So she makes a reality changer to delete the concept of regressing. Like not the idea that someone could go back to a way they were before, but the idea that something that isn't stagnation could be anything other than progress. Like a parent would still see a child successfully being potty trained a big step that made everyone's lives more convenient, but if the same kid then went back to diapers, that'd be an even bigger sign of maturity and independence. To the point where that parent might brag about how much easier it is to just check the kid's diaper and change on their schedule than have to trust them to use the potty right and how much they were now saving on toilet paper . And straight As dropping to straight Fs is obviously just as impressive as going the other way around, and both are much more impressive than stagnantly maintaining straight As. I'm thinking the smarter friend knows that her friend did something big, but can't figure out what, and in any case, the jealous friend is using the new scheme of things to outpace her friend for once.

One story idea I've always had, a guy and a girl who are best friends go to apply for a summer job at a daycare that's opening and end up applying to test out the daycare. Humiliation ensues because of signed contracts. Maybe some diaper sex between the two as they accept their fate?
