So I’ve been brainstorming and brain farting ideas but i ran into an issue. Should I attempt one shot webcomic first? Or a short like idk 5 episode webcomic? I’m rlly nervous ngl..😅 but I’d love to hear any thoughts.. esp if you read webtoon a lot.. I’d love your input. I’ve attempted making webcomic twice as a student 😅 but they failed miserably cause i didn’t even have a story in mind 💀 this time i wanna take it slow and really make this a learning process

Maybe do a short story because if you do a one shot you would have to put the whole plot, story, characters, etc. And if you do a short story you’ll get more time making the story or change things that you don’t like BUT you may feel pressured sometimes if you don’t know what to write as the story which can happen (not necessarily will, probably won’t ). In general you’ll have more time creating the story and not putting the start and the end in one chapter, just choose what you feel better in yk🫶

I’ve seen webtoon one shots and it’s usually much more simple because no crazy storyline is required. For example for romance it would just be (two crushes , kiss, the end) i find that much more easier to tackle than episodes. If it was short story it would have much more planning since it still needs a plot but longer. I have a lot of time to create the story! So that will not be an issue for one shot Thank you for your thoughts!!💖💖💖

Def try something shorter first! If people love it you could always extend it

Definitely start with a one-shot. It’s a little easier and gets u started on creating storylines

YES, start with a short webcomic ideas would blossom from there

I think go for the one shot . That way if you feel the response was good and you want to just start it over more in depth as an actual webcomic

One shot is a good way to start cause you get to see what people liked and what you can work on 😳😋 personally I like your growth as an artist so whichever one isn’t too hectic for you!!!

I'd go for a one-shot first. Test the waters, see how you work when making a comic. It's also an easier way of getting story lines started and if you wanna continue u can branch off from there!

I think the one shots are a great way to start! Leaves you wiggle room with time and storylines
