After designing a hair mesh I decided I liked, I noticed I had a problem; Because of the curl in the front, it really only looked good from one angle. If he turns and faces the other direction, the entire thing looks "backwards", if that makes sense. 

See the tiny circle behind his head? The entire hair mesh is parented to it. The width of the circle can either be set to 1 or -1 on the x axis to make it 'mirror' itself. When he's looking to the left it's set to 1, when he's looking to the right it's set to -1. 

It's kinda awkward how harsh the jump between the two is, but hopefully it's not too distracting for the viewer. It's worth it to never have a bad angle IMO.
