i think you realise now why it's been so requested for years. this show is really one in a million in my opinion. one of the best shows i've ever watched. EVERYTHING stands out to me, not only the show is amazing but the actors are brilliant, it's directed impeccably and the cinematography is great too. don't get me started with the intro. that intro is one of my favourite intros ever made along with the Buffy intros. it's amazing getting to rewatch and hear not only your opinions but also all the info that cosmo provides each episode, teadrinker first impressions (now with video included for anyone interested lol watched the first one and it was great). and all the other patreons' opinions. this one is is ranking up as one of my favourite reactions of yours to be honest.

Yes watch last 3 episodes of the season on the same day . Best way to do it . Lola fait in Billy is amazing since episode 1 😀 . Btw not sure did anyone mentioned it or did you girls notice , but Tom Hopper who plays him was also in Game of Thrones playing Sam brother Dickon Tarly . I think that was his first role after Black Sails . He got burn alive together with his and Sam father by Daenerys ..well technically she gave an order dragon did the burning .

John Silver, John Silver, John Silver what else can I say, he is my absolute favorite character and THIS is one of the reasons. I saw his betrayal coming a mile away but I was still Floored about how flawlessly he pulled it off, legit NO ONE questioned it at all. Silver managing to outsmart Flint this easy is why I love him but to Silver, he doesn't even consider it a betrayal, from the start he told Flint what he wanted out of this partnership and if Flint derailed at any point, he would be out. He kept his word, lol. Vane's declaration to Eleanor was frightening, but it's also something that was coming a mile away. I just couldn't see their relationship ending any other way, they both have very different views on what they want Nassau to be and to Eleanor, Vane could never truly understand what she wants out of Nassau, she DOES want it to be legitimate, she just wants to be the one recognized for making it so and running it legitimately, but to Vane, making Nassau legitimate and having the pirates work under the crown, renders Piracy obsolete and they wouldn't be Pirates or free men anymore so OF COURSE he wouldn't want legitimacy. Loved the character arc of Anne as well, I don't love that she killed two innocent people but I loved that the show allowed her a story where she tries to find out who she is without Jack. Even though Jack and Anne are a dynamic duo, them going in separate ways for a while I believe is what's best for both of them.

Honestly, you are both great at predicting the plot. Several occasions you've absolutely nailed what's going to happen several episodes or seasons before it does. The Wire was mental. You were throwing out the entire story arc for one of the seasons and were spot on throughout

I'm so with Lola and Milena and loving/liking all the characters. I've read a lot of opinions about the show and watched a lot of reactions, and usually people tend to fall more on one 'side'. Like, if they're really behind Flint they don't tend to like certain characters. But for me, even though I'm also a big Flint defender, being on his side doesn't keep me from also loving the other characters. And ones like Eleanor and Max, who tend to get the most hate, are up among my favorites (Flint and Max are my personal top two). I really enjoy feeling so much for different people on various sides of a conflict, and it's one of the reasons I love this show so much. That Sansa quote that Lola mentioned really might be the worst piece of writing in a season that was filled to the brim with terrible writing. "Without Littlefinger and Ramsay and the rest, I would've stayed a little bird all my life." That line of dialogue was written shortly after the #MeToo movement as well lmao

god even reading that still make me feel ill. What a way to leave a bad taste in my mouth for my 2nd favourite character in that show
