You thought you had "your boys" of this show, but you better make space this season. The Boys of Summer bring a whole different side to the show, and this season you will care more than you already do about what's happening.. most shows focus on just extreme cases (breaking bad, sopranos, ECT) that can happen but is not necessarily relatable to the normal person. This is stuff that 10s of millions of ppl are going through daily in inner cities around the country and they does such a good job pulling emotions with relatable things grounded in reality.

In my own city, I was on a street that is close to a bad area known for the drug trade. There was a little kid, couldn't have been more than 6 or 7, walking down the street. When a police car passed. he hid his face with his arm. He did that so automatically and instinctively, it was sad to watch for someone that young to have that reaction to a police car. He must have picked it up from older friends or family who are in the drug trade. A terrible start at life.

Now that we're here, I went to school with Dookie's actor. Middle school to be exact. I think I was 11 or 12 at the time and had a computer class with him in 7th grade. Then he went to film The Wire but with most our class being the same age none of us could watch it for obvious reasons. The one thing I remember was having a school assembly that welcomed him back so he could graduate 8th grade year. It was a surreal experience watching this show as an adult and seeing someone you knew in passing on television.

Can’t believe no one warned you. Then you don’t read my YouTube comments. This season is my fav, it reminds me of the film Stand By Me. But without spoiling anything…your worst fears will not be realised with the kids but it will be traumatic. Also worthy to note of which I should have said is about one of the creators of the series and Ed Burns . He was a cop for a number of years and then became a teacher in the inner city. Although not autobiographical most of the stories in The Wire are taken from real life…

As said before I'd be more than happy to fulfill such a role (and other long-term members would possibly be too), but unless there was a way for a user to have comment-deletion privileges without necessitating having full access to the girls' Patreon account, including knowing the password, then I can't imagine the girls would ever be comfortable with that. The channel's their livelihood, after all. Perhaps there is a way for a mod to have access to certain features and not others, someone who knows more than I do about Patreon can correct me on that. So, unless there was a way to be a mod with comment-deletion privilege only, or the girls get a mod whom they know and trust in real life, then this is unfortunately a phenomenon that's here to stay.
