Bev Keene is one of the most hateable characters in fiction, major props to the actress and writing for her. What makes her so terrible is she feels frighteningly real. That scene between Father Paul and Riley is really good. I could see how into it you two were as well.

Milena 💀 I feel like this show feels much more like a Stephen King story than the other two (I mean they were based on novels and this is an original script lol) but especially the stuff surrounding alcoholism, faith and loss of innocence. Even the diverse cast of characters that are slightly archetypical but have a lot of depth Love how much they enjoy the one on one convos so far! Feel like these scenes are the highlight of the show

Man those one on one scenes with Father Paul and Riley just knock it out of the park, Hamish Linklater is so good as Paul. So much to unpack there. Surprised to not see it mentioned yet btw, but this is definitely a series where you want to make sure you can actually see the dark scenes properly because there's a lot of them lol

Only seen the live action adaptations but concept wise I think I prefer Midnight mass. If you’ve read them do you think they’re worth checking out?

I'm not watching the show either but I had to see that jump scare. And now this is the second time she's jumped and said "Leave me alone." 😂 I think there was another time during The Last of Us. It's okay Milena. I'm the same way during jump scares. I hate them. 😂

I think you two would see things better in the darkness if you closed the blinds or something. You miss a lot of things. And it would be more spooky, and therefore more enjoyable to see Milena freak out. ԅ(≖‿≖ԅ)

Midnight Mass has much better production value all around. Salem's Lot is forgettable, I only remembered I read it while watching Midnight Mass.

oh my god i can't stop thinking about this too-- them reacting to horror films --especially after i saw milena reacting to the recap(?) of a scene in Get Out in one of their videos earlier this year(?)
