I wonder if the real Thorfinn really rejected violence or is it the author having some creative liberties and adding that to his character. I really want to look up the the real thorfinn but I’m afraid of spoilers if I do lol anyways once this show is over I would definitely want to learn about the real person named Thorfinn.

Theres no evidence the real Thorfinn was a warrior at all so all that stuff is fictional. But yeah id be careful looking him up cause theres still some potential spoilers about his life

No news :/. We had to wait 4 years between season 1 to season 2 and for like 2 of those years we got not confirmation that it was even being made. I hope it picks up the pace now that S2 came out like how AoT did. My sanity cannot hand needing to wait 8 years before this show finishes (there’s enough content left for 2 more seasons).

Season 3 probably won't be announced until the fall. What you could try is to ask Yukimura on Twitter if he knows anything about it. He just apologized yesterday to us fans for only getting 8 pages for chapter 201. He's having a hard time with the finale because he's laying the groundwork for how the story ends. Ultimately, I would expect Vinland Saga Season 3 to be around fall 2024 to summer 2025 at the latest. And my theory is currently: - Season 3: Chapter 101 - 166 - OVAs or a short season 4 of 12 episodes, with a story that fans demand but the manga skipped - Season 4: Chapter 167 - END
