Question: For the next anime poll, do we want to take only anime with female main characters? I just have to think about the Vinland Saga Reaction, where Lola and Milena discussed seeing more male and boy filled shows on the channel. I think it would be cool to bring some variety in here. With Violet Evergarden, A Place Further Than The Universe and Moribito, I can think of 3 that they would enjoy.

@Ninaly I had rewatched Steins Gate a year ago, and I'm sorry to say but Steins Gate is really bad. It does have a large female character cast, but they are just a harem for the main male characters and have almost no character depth. They serve as objects that are permanently and repeatedly sexualized by Rintarou and Itaru. In addition, the dialogue is for the most part incredibly poorly written and is mired in clichés and weirdness. I feel quite badly about idol Faris and her moe culture, the sociophobic Moeka, who is at the same time a secret agent (Please what?) and trans girl Luka, who is constantly rejected by Rintarou for her innate gender while penetratingly repeating that she is a boy. Ultimately, the basic idea and big plot at the end being good enough to give the series its hype, but by today's standards, I would put Steins Gate very very low.

@Orr Malus Monster after the show after Vinland Saga I also see 100%! Monster is so good. I recently started watching it again and I'm still amazed at how this thriller squeezes so much story into so little time. Also, the world design by the mangaka is just awesome. Those little details were perfect even though he hadn't even visited the country.

I have my own idea of a an anime I think they would enjoy but it doesn’t follow the female main character criteria but I feel it deserves a mention anyway. Cowboy bebop is one of those classics that hasn’t aged poorly at all and is still very rewatchable (obviously I’m talking about the anime) and is a anime I think they would like. It’s also not extremely long. Idk maybe bad idea but I think it deserves a mention.

Not as long as they place extremely known shows on the polling lists beside Black sails sadly. For example someone here suggested Tge Sopranos which is very good but it’s also not a fair thing to place with Black sails as then the same thing as now would happen and there are many other really known shows that would have the same affect. Don’t keep your hopes up ok definitely not.

Moribito is perfect for them. I think it's like 30 episodes. I watched it three times. Definitely has a female lead. But I think it could be a rip off of Avatar. I haven't seen Avatar yet. But that director seems to borrow a lot of popular concepts, but I watch all his work. And that was when I was very primitive when it came to anime. I think ten years later I decided to build a solid base of popular anime knowledge and binged on every episode of Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece. Then moved on to Hunter X Hunter which is kind of a mid size one and one of the greats of course. I think Demon Slayer is perfect for them. I read the manga after season two, and these arcs get better and better. And lot of money reaction episodes. But future seasons are going to be great and then add to the fact that the animation studio is one of the best.

I also love Demon slayer but not for any story reason that is mostly just meh not bad but not special but the damn animations and fight scenes are so goddamn crisp. However saying that just so you know Demon slayer has already been cancelled by the Patreon community so won’t happen.

@komikall monster is actually winning poll in Filmbuff Patreon. His audience knows and understands his taste tho so they keep him recommending one gem after the other. Let's hope monster also gets picked up one day by LM. Although if i remember correctly, both fmab and Vinland did not have polls. If we keep pushing it in comments eventually monster may also get picked.

i would love if you'd watch Violet Evergarden 🥺 +a reaction for all one piece openings, just the openings, so maybe in the very far future you'd give it a go, and by then you would forget about the openings (there are enough openings for a reaction, trust me, these gains a lot of views) pretty plleassse girls!! just the openings! i'd die to see your reaction to them😭😭😭

Why is Fargo always so underrated? It's amazingly well written and never too heavy. I'd put it a smidge behind Mr. Robot and Attack on Titan but seasons 1-3 are absolutely perfect. Plus it is an anthology series so every 10 episodes you get a new cast, setting, etc. although they tie into each other a bit.

Can't speak for other people but every time I've tried to watch Fargo I've found the pacing to be completely screwy to the point it's unwatchable - and I liked Devs, I can cope with screwy pacing. Like I said can't speak for others but me personally..

Please react to Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer, a great anime with one of the best animation ever, I'm sure you will love it. You should watch One Piece, I know it has so many episodes but really it's worth it, once you finish HH you'll see the number of episodes it's not a big deal

Hi sorry this is really off topic from this poll but does anyone know if they're planning on starting Stranger Things up again? I know in their ranking video they said they planned to continue but I wasn't sure if that meant on their own time or during reactions 😅

The thing about the Wire is it didn't age well. It was fascinating at the time it aired, but don't think nowadays Big cities would put all that effort in solving crime and catching criminals at this level. It's all about defunding the police. Even the change of pace season that deals with the issue of 'unions' seems kind of dated. But definitely worth watching at least once.

Demon Slayer is the perfect amount of episodes, like less than 50. One Piece has over 1000, it's the best. Their loss but 2 episodes a week isn't going to cut it for OP. Demon slayer is so f'ing good. I was wondering why their manga was selling so much, I was only familiar with the first two seasons. But what was going one was basically Avengers Endgame type stuff with an 80 percent casualty rate. I think they're going to have to release a few theatrical movies for upcoming arcs. I definitely see a billion and a half in worldwide gross if it's at least two movies. (Infinity train made 500 million worldwide) Of course, they still need to release TV series too. But the beginning where Muzan appears, and the very end of DS should be theatrical films.

I would say Sangatsu no lion/March comes in like a lion is GREAT, sweet and has many female characters. And I'm with all of you who don't give up on them reacting to MONSTER someday

Also, the slang is tough enough for a native English speaker to follow, let alone someone for whom English is a 2nd language. I'll encourage them to not get frustrated with the slang.
