Glad to see this being updated today. I thought I was going to have to wait a few days because I had to cancel my subscription for a few days because I had some problems with my bank. I'll probably be late for the next Mr robot update and I'm so pissed. Anyway, should be fixed by next week but at least I have this one already.

kinda feels like we’re getting a new opening song next week. its the 2nd half of the season, a new conflict is on the horizon, it would be fitting.

Lola asking why would canute go to ketil's farm personally to acquire it? Girl, kings throughout past have done things that we can't understand. like, where i live, a king gave up his kingdom, went into exile to meditate under a 'peepal' tree,gained enlightenment and founded Buddhism and spread it. Personally visiting to acquire a piece of land doesn't seem far fetched to me😂. Historical records also say that Thorkell and Canute together went through a number of voyages. This is perhaps one in which canute decides to go alone. Plus, plot kinda also demands it as Milena pointed out.

Canute seems to be more hands on than most other kings. Plus its not like he will be fighting and this is no war against another country. He only brought around a hundred men because he probably already got the information on Ketil's farm military which is only a few dozen. Snake even said it himself a few episodes ago that all it would take is 50 skilled fighters to take the farm. Canute is bringing his own 32 guard plus the Jomvikings which were known to be fierce and disciplined. He didnt even need to call upon Thorkell because he knew this force was more than enough to take out Ketil's farm on paper. He probably wanted to go to oversee the battlefield and since its the first one they take down

If you want to know more about Vinland Saga, Gigguk just made a video with the writer of Vinland Saga. It's 13 minutes long and it does not spoil anything from this 2nd season, only things from season 1 are spoiled so you could watch it if you want to understand the person writing this story more.

i only guess Cnut would go there in person since wulf plan sending 2 groups to anger ketil son and arrest ketil failed, if you remember Cnut from late season one i think he arn't putting trust on others easily anymore. also i think in old civilisations they believed the spirit of a warrior goes on, either with the man who killed the warrior or the person who was close and learn their warrior ways.. both Cnut and thorfinn effected heavily by askeladd and thorfinn has thors heart ...
