this was supposed to go up yesterday but im gonna post it today and the edited one later in the day. we might be having issues with hh which is why im naming it this way, im trying not to use the full name, because some reaction channels have been hit with copyright takedowns on patreon, and some have been deleted immediately, and we got some notification to contact patreon regarding some issue. so hopefully we figure out whats the problem and we’ll handle it then

You should go back to having long intros. Maybe put the previous episodes discussion as the intro. The youtube robots check the first minutes a lot more than the middle and end. I think that's the reason why the first 7 episodes are still up on youtube while these are having trouble before they are even public.

Don't watch the show but wanted to comment on this. I'll be honest, I've always been wary of your channel because of how much you include from the episodes. It's extremely undefined what's considered fair use under the transformative display of the work. I think because you have so much intro you have been undetected by bots, but I don't know if the hefty discussion both before and after the episode would hold under human scrutiny. I fear they might see what you have as a market substitute -- despite the low opacity people can essentially watch the full episode through your reactions (audio constantly playing too since it's through speakers rather than headphones). Combine this all with the fact that, as others have said, Japan doesn't have fair use unlike the US (which YT's copyright is derived from) and it could lead to some serious legal action in the future, not necessarily for you directly, but I wouldn't be surprised if the whole anime reaction area of things changes drastically in the future. That being said, it's worked surprisingly well for your channel so far despite how huge you are views-wise. It hasn't gone there yet, and usually a counter claim is enough, but with the recent crackdowns on anime reactions, who knows. I wonder if this will become a big thing in the future, like with how torrenting slipped under the radar for a while but then became extremely cracked down on in certain countries. You guys film a LOT of shows and have a life outside this, so you're probably really busy but I highly recommend this video from today from an anime reactor on the whole situation: https://youtu.be/OlyMuE2_9IU It's a bit long, so if you do decide to watch it then obviously feel free to take breaks and not do it all at once, but it's very illustrative of the whole anime reaction / fair use / copyright / transformative media topic and explains stuff you need to be careful of. I also recommend to other patrons who are curious on the topic (and let me know if there's anything in the video that you think is wrong / you disagree with, am always up for a discussion)
