I want to express my gratitude to you girls for picking up this show. Vinland Saga is telling a wonderful story but it is often shadowed by other shows that are more culturally popular like attack on titan, demon slayer, jujutsu kaisen, chainsawman etc. I have nothing against other shows and stories in fact that they deserve all the praise and love they get. Honestly, Vinland as a show exists because of its very dedicated fanbase, otherwise if a show doesn't have massive action sequences or fanservice elements it usually goes under the radar, but so many fans of it recommend it and talk about it that it gained a ton of traction. Also, Vikings and things as such allows it a bigger western audience, the author deserves applause for his diligent research. Vinland saga doesn't do well in sales, and I doubt it sells much merchandise, yet, here we are with a season 2 animated by one of the powerhouses of a studio Mappa. IT ALL EXISTS because of YOU watching, and people watching you watching, discussing, and creating a buzz. So thank you girls, you have awesome taste, if you can and want to, then please support this show, you can buy hoodies, posters, blue-ray version of this anime, or you can support it through by purchasing manga like most fans do(of course only if you want to). But overall, thanks you Lola and Milena for showing love, care, appreciation for Vinland.

Maybe the show doesn't do so well cause the protagonists are literal savage thieves, baby killers, child rapists, murderers, and genocidal sociopaths? Most people have a tough time to relating to that. Just saying...

Why does me pointing out stuff that happens in the anime somehow ruin the show for you? The author himself willfully decided to portray the events that I'm alluding to. Wouldn't this make him the real culprit of raining on everyone's parade?

Mans been at it for like 8 months at least lmfao its honestly hilarious seeing all his rage filled comments not understanding the material on 80% of posts throughout multiple different shows. I enjoy passively sitting back and see him create arguements where its his deluded thoughts vs literally everyone else, quite entertaining if i do say so myself.

@Orr Malus did you just never learn media literacy? Shows like Game of Thrones and many others have main characters who commit acts just as atrocious. Hell, I’d argue that Vinland Saga is far far more nuanced about what it’s saying regarding violence than things like Game of Thrones. It’s one thing to not like a show because it just doesn’t vibe with you. Trying to justify it over and over from the angle that you have some kind of moral high ground not only makes you come off like an asshole, it just demonstrates how much you are willfully misinterpreting the story. How would you like it if I jumped into every Band of Brothers reaction (or whatever show you do like) to just go on and on about how much I dislike the show and to insist that my reading of its story is correct no matter what anyone else says. It would be obnoxious. Which is what you are being.

Perfectly stated. Vinland Saga is a labor of love by all involved. It's one of the few shows that you know has a story that has to be told correctly regardless of popularity, and you can clearly see that the artists, writer, animators, fans, and anyone else involved all know that.

@Orr Malus What point are you trying to make? Have you ever had your sister turn into a demon? does that mean you cant relate to Demon Slayer? If anything Vinland saga is technically MORE relatable because as humans we ACTUALLY did these things. The show delves into a deep level as to why that might be the case and how we can move past it through different avenues (Religion, Family values etc.). But you probably can't comprehend this. Why are you even debating shows on here? Just watch the reaction and move on lol.

this man Orr rly keep stating his shit like he makes any sense or has any purpose. its one thing to critique a show and another to hate on it. A critique, you say what you believe is good/bad about it and leave it at that. Its up to others to take your interpretations and critiques as they choose. He rly acting like he won director/author of the year or something with these constant spamming of "oh I think this author doesnt know this or that". Its like telling a professional chef that his food sucks while not having any cooking experience or knowledge and yet continues to visit his restaurant and say the same shit and pay money to just hate. Its been a while since ive seen one of this kind. On youtube, its different since shits free but to pay for Patreon, watch a show and continue to spam the same shit every other episode is a new low. And never have I ever heard a critique about vinland saga being bad because theres no "good guys".
