I was fortunate enough to go to the premiere of this movie in Los Angeles. It was such a fun and memorable experience because I got to see the movie a little early and was able to get some photos with a few cast members of Breaking Bad and also some from Better Call Saul.

I'm going to wait for the full reaction to watch this but to answer your question about the writers of BCS there's usually around 7 or so in the writers' room for each season. And while Vince was the cocreator and coshowrunner for BCS for the first couple of seasons it's largely been Peter Gould's baby, who wrote the first episode that Saul was introduced in BrBa. Vince wasn't even part of the writers' room for most of season 3 of BCS and was completely out of the writers' room for seasons 4 and 5. The quality hasn't dropped though because Vince's genius is that his writers' room was never a top down situation. Some showrunners basically come in with all the ideas and just dictate every moment of the show. With BrBa and BCS its a very collaborative process where every writer has the same amount of say and they spend a long amount of time going down as many possible avenues to find the best way to move forward with the story and the characters. As you listen to more interviews and commentaries with Vince he's the first to bring up that some of the worst ideas that came up in the BrBa and BCS writers' rooms were from him and were not used after the whole group discussed and dissected them. Ultimately Vince and Peter both care more about finding the best story than just making the writers' room their own little dictatorship.
