and here we go, fair warning about the amount of tears we shed during these last two episodes, it was excessive even by our standards

AHHH I'M NOT READY

been waiting for this all day!

also, i frequently see a comment on youtube that describes the azula thing perfectly: as a 14 year old girl, in her last moments of clarity, all she wanted was her mom. just heartbreaking!

Your visceral tears perfectly indicate how well crafted this show is from the story to the characters and themes!! I loved watching your reactions and I'm so happy that you guys loved this show as much as I do! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve watched this show multiple times, but getting to watch it through your fresh eyes made me feel as if I was watching it for the first time. Now I’m all emotional!

Ursa always loved Azula. She wasn’t so concerned that she kept Mai, Ty Lee and Zuko away from her. And I find it hard to believe that Ursa thought of her as a monster. It was either Azula’s perception because she was more punished due to Ursa actually being a parent or Ozai lying it to Azula to make her be closer to him.

Ursa says, "what is wrong with that child" she may not have ever said directly to Azula that she is a monster, but it's implied that she thought something was wrong with her daughter. Obviously we only see small flashbacks of the past, but I always thought that Ursa gave more of her attention to Zuko, because Ozai gave no attention to him, while he gave a lot of attention to Azula. Therefore Ursa may have inadvertently with no ill will, given less love to Azula. Just my take on it. I agree that Ursa loved Azula, but she may not have showed it as much as she did toward Zuko.

Sarah

That little moment where Sokka throws himself on top of Toph to protect her from the shrapnel gets me every time too 😭

Drew

The Agni Kai where the sound cuts out except for the music is my favorite sequence in the whole show.

I cant take seeing my bae Azula cry. Breaks my heart everytime

The empathy you guys have for Azula is really touching. It's easy to see her breakdown as just what she has coming for being so evil, and forget everything that's led her to this point.

Modelo Time

i have waited so long for this............... 😩 finally!!! your guys' reactions give me LIFE

Just wanna point out one of my favorite details in this show. Notice during the fight with Zuko and Azula, Zuko does some pretty interesting moves, the move where he stomps and punches toward the ground is an earth bending technique, the move where he spins on the ground is an air bending technique and we obviously know redirecting lighting is a water bending technique. In book two Iroh told Zuko that taking wisdom from each nation can make him more powerful just like how it's the combination of each nations that make the Avatar so powerful. Zuko has been all over the world and has taken wisdom from each part and now he is whole...

Love how aware you guys are of the fact that these are children. Azula is totally a child that was abandoned by her father. The worst part is she's granted a sense of supremacy, so her trauma is destroying other people's lives too. Love this clash of the siblings!!

Lmfaoo she called the fire lord fat, like what lool all love

Phonic Reassignment

poor azula she doesnt have an iroh all she has is her father but she does go crazy later, its unfortunate that inner struggle is amplified for her, her roku and sozin inner battle because unlike zuko shes a prodigy. she has to deal with alone with no guide she's lost, until she becomes an adult and decides to be an anti-hero. meaning shes a villian unless she is met with a common goal. like finding someone.........
