You are not reaching in the beginning of the episode. This show is loaded with foreshadowing, symbolism, and storytelling through imagery. You are 100% not reaching. You will see countless examples of this.

It's funny that you guys jumped when you recognized Giancarlo Esposito from The Boys because that was every Breaking Bad fans' reaction when they saw him show up in The Boys season 1 finale. Such an amazing actor can't wait for you guys to see him as Gus!
