I love everything about these videos so much! 🥺❤️  I first found ya'll on youtube and immediately admired how genuine and emotionally intelligent your reactions were/are. I feel like ya'll saw the characters for who they were deep down really early on, that they're all just traumatized children using their own coping skills & drives to make their way in the world, and idk that's kinda refreshing for the Avatar fandom...especially since most of us started the show as children and didn't always have this kind of nuanced insight. It seems like most reactions online these days are just shallow analyses of the plot and lore, which is cool & valuable, but you two seem so invested in the unique character dynamics and that's so beautiful to me!  That's what makes this show so great I think, not just the incredible story itself but the nuanced ways the characters interact and grow around each other. I think Zuko and Iroh's dynamic in particular is what made this show so mature and legendary. Zuko's arc is definitely what got me hooked as a kid. Anyway sorry to ramble at ya'll lol, just wanted to express how much I appreciate this channel as it's helping me survive the remnants of 2020! 🥴

I just realized after all the times I've watched this that Zuko went after that guy who bullied Iroh in the street because he took Zuko's dual swords and probably acquired them after his ship was scavenged after the explosion.

The swamp is a mystical/spiritual place that'w what Yu (the vine bender)was trying to get across and the world is like the swamp in that everything living/dead past/present/future is connected. The swamp shows them people who had/have/will have a great effect on their lives, and because time and death were illusions it doesn't matter if the person is alive or dead in this moment the effcts they had on a persons life are lasting and a spiritual bond as much as a physical one. So when the swamp showed them people they "lost" it was a way of saying those people were never really lost they still live on inside of us and even their bodies will return to the earth eventually and grow and become part of the physical cycle of life again, As for the time being an illusion part that's a bit more metaphysical. He was essentially saying that time is not a linear path that just how we as people perceive it time is a constant flux and flow think of it more as us, humans, being a pebble on a river bed from the outside looking in the river flows in one direction but in reality the pebble in the river is being thrown up and down and all over the place that is time its all happening, all simultaneously past present and future. Its all a bit complicated honestly and it goes over a lot of people's heads as just "wise old man words" but its also quite scientific because the belief that "time is an illusion" is actually one popularized by Albert Einstein. The fact that this is even in a kid's show is a testament to the shows greatness and I can't wait for y'all to see how deep it goes.

Hey I love the twice a week uploads but wouldnt it be better if the full reactions came first? I think it’s implied Zuko killed the guy who made Iroh dance for a coin. Obviously it’s a Nickelodeon show so they had to end it with Zuko standing over him with swords in his hands.
