regarding Kuzan joining BB they have talked about it. Gerosi were telling Akaino After Luffy Defeted Duffy in Dersorosa (ep736) how could u leave someone as strong as Kuzan join BB

Kuzan was actually revealed to have some connection with the Blackbeard Pirates back when Luffy met Burgess in the coliseum in Dressrosa. We just didn’t know he was part of the crew.

If you remember back in Whole Cake Big Mom said the 3 eyed clan had an ability that let them read the poneglyhs. But Pudding says shes only half 3 eyed and hadnt unlocked that ability, but Big Mom was adamant she might be able to. So Blackbeard might think she can As well

If you don’t read the cover stories from the manga then you wouldn’t know that Black Beard invaded Whole Cake Island while she wasn’t home and kidnapped Pudding. Also the news that Aokiji is part of the Blackbeard Pirates is old news that over a decade old.

This chapter in the manga was pretty crazy because it was the first time the events of a cover story interacted with the main story immediately. It was actually a cover story about Caesar and the Vinsmoke siblings escaping WCI and then all of a sudden it shows Cacao Island frozen. Then that very same chapter it's shown that Pudding was a captive of BB Pirates. Very cool.
