One of my favorite moments in all of Fairy Tail, Gildarts is awesome, and the fear in Natsu's eyes, you can tell he realises how weak he is (just think about how many enemy's he faced without ever backing down, yet he can't even get close to Gildarts). Don't worry about Laxus, you will see him again, and that will be one of my other favorite moments.

I think you should watch 3 episodes for the next reaction. Also fun fact: Cana and Aquarius have the same voice actress. So, it's kinda funny when Lucy said "These two are somehow similar".

What up with the subtitle tho i found 2 mistakes 1 of them was mavis vermillion subbed as mabious and the second one was his dragon slayer secret art subbed as dragon slayer magic

those subtitles definitely need to be fixed. and since dragon slayer secret art is Natsu's strongest technique it really waters it down when the translation is wrong

Gildarts is a real badass. I like his character. Just a question, Why can't i watch fairy tail season 1 on crunchy? I can't even open the season 1 box where i see the 3 season. Even when i open the link above in this post, it says "ooops.. something went wrong."
