I have been waiting since ep 1 for you to get to this episode. Ep 3 was maybe the sweetest arc in the series but this one... well, once you see it you know of what I speak. Maomao is so great.

I love how the supporting characters are layered and complex and grow over time. In this case not just Lady Lihua but also her servant realizing her own foolishness. I also really liked how Lady Lihua accepts her servant' back with a simple request for water. A high noble would only ask for food or drink from someone they trusted. Also considering that she would need to need to lift Lady Lihua to drink and hold her. She wouldn't do that if she rejected her. It is both a subtle and dignified way to restore her friend to her place.
