Early Announcement of my Leave for Service (real, read below) (Patreon)

If you are not part of our Discord chat you might not know this, so here it goes:

I live in Middle East, and I am due my mandatory military service, which is only going to take 3 weeks -as opposed to the normal 6 months- due to me being able to pay off a time-limited bail opportunity that shortened the time. This is entirely thanks to all you people, you helped me so much with my student debts and now this. I can't thank you enough.

Today the date of my leave and comeback is revealed. My sentence starts 16th of February, 2019, and if everything goes as it should, will end in March 10th although that date might vary.

During these dates, as you might have guessed, I will have no access to here, or won't be able to work on anything new for here. That being said, I will not freeze the campaign. Instead, I will continue delivering pre-scheduled content, periodically over the time of my sentence. I have to do this because, the truth is, I need all sorts of financial cushion I can get upon my return, as this whole military sentence thing is actually quite badly planned for everybody in my country, and puts people in immediate debt due to having to leave their livelihoods for nearly a month. Thank you for your support and I hope you will continue enjoying my works.

For Exotic Idols: There will be a short comic that will last for 5 pages, and I will schedule them to be released periodically over the time of my sentence - so you guys will get to have new content as if I've never left. This comic will be first available to Exotic Idol ($5) Tier patrons in Full Res, and Half-Res version of it will be available for Super Star ($3) Tiers some while after I return. The comic will be about, what else, Sonic improperly being placed in a modern infantry troop full of human dudes and will experience some shenanigans.

For Super Stars and above: There will also be small sketch drawings of different Sonics I draw, posted in between page releases, throughout all January to the end of March.

The downsides to all that stuff that, there sadly won't be any Sketch Packs or Calendar images for January, February and March. January too because I need all kinds of time to focus on the extra pages (which is why I elected to do the irregular sketch uploads for January as well), as I will also be putting the final touches on Irresistible Nature before I leave.

When I'm back and able to readjust, April will see a hopeful return to form, with Calendar images, Sketch Packs, and pages for the new comic I've already written and am dying to draw and show you.

Oh, and, also, as for the commissions - during February I won't take on any commission pieces and instead, the rings gained will be forcibly banked for everyone to be used in later months.

As for the whole me having to go to the military thing, well, wish me luck, I hate guns but them's the breaks. I hate the whole thing in particular, but it's something that our gov't sees as a debt or a tax of life or some sort and when they force you, you can't negotiate. I'm lucky I was able to negotiate this much, and I'm so lucky to have so many amazing patrons who have my back. Thank you. Hope you like the little drawing, and continue enjoying the show.
