...Oh dear lord Scorpior is being retired because Apoidea and/or Insectia itself basically leveled up...

I’m just imagining accountants in a doom arena, intensely plugging numbers into excel.

Blade Tech

So basically our bug princess wants a villain she feels confident the possibility she ever looses the villain will actually be a decent replacement for her to rule her kingdom.

This is sad. Give an F to pay respects to Scorpior. Also the battle of math... ain't that just school in general?

Dark ninja

Scorpior can go join dr cackle for crow's "project: miniboss"

Are villains an important part of civilization in this world? If Crow was to one day say "Nah, I'm not doing this anymore." would Mayapple start interviewing new villains?

RoosterFish

For a robot he's not that smart.

*rubs face* Scorpior I love you, you're a glorious loud charming dumbass....but you really don't have a plan. Also Apodiea you SUCK for letting Scorpior find out THIS way!

Bit surprised a place ran by living bees has a fragile economy. Maybe there's some logistics of civilian life I am not seeing here... Well, at least they probably have a robust bureaucratic system and deadly accountants.

krazykat

Why the hell did anyone think having the robotic mas murder engine wandering around randomly stumbling on to this was a good idea? why not have the syndicate inform him ( possibly with missiles) or have Paraponera's first job/ proof of worth be telling him and living? Or is this Malice's idea of entertainment?

Basically the "walking in on your SO cheating on you" moment.

didn't play the game did you. we were already told insektia had just come out of the bug race war that Scorpior was originally made to fight in and that their economy was largely dependent on honey exports that already dipped in game. hell the country was literally bailed out by crow sharing sunken treasure with Apoidae. the weak economy is just the visible surface of insektia's problems.
