Prelude to a Discover Our Bodies Highlight : Pantromorphs aka Psychic Parasite Chao Garden (Patreon)

Hi all, there has been a cold circulating through my household for the past few days and I am currently not feeling the best so I will keep this post a little brief but I will expand upon it soon when I am feeling better. I want to go more in-depth but its hard to sit down and write at the moment feeling as bad/weird as I am. I am on the mend though and will feel better soon, but I just wanted to get something out there.

You might remember the last Discover Our Bodies Highlight focusing on Xenomycology. 

 Well, as it turns out, Xenomycology is not the only thing you can do in the laboratory of Discover Our Bodies. Advances in xenomycology and interest in exploring new psychic spaces that could (potentially) destroy the minds of human beings have led to the creation of Pantromorphs : lab grown psychical organisms engineered for the purpose of going places too dangerous for any human subjectivity.

In Discover Our Bodies you will raise them from egg to adult and then send them off to venture deep into areas hazardous to the human mind. Of course, you will be able to experiment synthesizing your own Pantromorphs which will come in a variety of forms and have a variety of properties that will increase their capabilities in exploring this exciting (and sometimes mind destroying) frontier.

Of course, your discoveries and experimentation in assisting procedures like Flowerings, growing new psychic fungi, and raising Pantromorphs, are all in many ways interconnected, advances in one discipline will lead to breakthroughs in another, a growth of a new psychic fungus might lead to a new type of Flowering which might lead to a new type of graft taken from that flowering which might lead to a new type of Pantromorph (their eggs grow in small lab ecosystems where psychic fungus mycelium plays a major role)

I have much more I’m excited to show you relating to Discover Our Bodies especially relating to the life-sim aspect of the game, but its not really ready yet.
