With production underway on our latest animation, and a couple of preview pieces out already for it, we wanted to get a vibe on how people felt about the behind the scenes content that we've been making.

Specifically on the quantity and nature of it. So select any and all of the choices below, even if you completely contradict yourself! I won't judge!

Always love behind the scenes stuff, whether its bloopers-type stuff (voice acting or animation related, ala Pixar end credits scenes of old) or just little tid bits/experimental ideas. I'm one of those people who will watch all the special features on a bluray to see more of the nuts and bolts behind scenes which usually makes me appreciate the final product even more.

Lady Grove

I love those Pixar animations, we could have a LOT of fun with that idea!

🤔🤔🤔 you have got me thinking good sir - which is not ideal when I am in production but I too remember devouring all the DVD extras of my youth.

The lack of more behind the scenes content is why I downgraded from Collosal Contributer because I thought I'd see more of that in the special discord channel

I like the WIP/behind the scenes kind a stuff. I just prefer most of it after the final animation. I don't mind the current level of spoilers, but since your work always contains a level of humor, I want the jokes to hit as hard as they can.😄

Some Guy

I have no opinions one way or another

I really would like to see more tutorials/workflows, I want to get into creation myself and would relish in the opportunity to learn from the best :D

If there's enough interest in people wanting to see behind the scenes, perhaps a new support tier is in order. Not a higher price, just a different tier so that you can post behind-the-scenes, tutorials and technical stuff, and only the people in the tech tier will see it, and those that don't want to see it wont.

begrove

Its an interesting idea to split out those who are keen on the technical into a separate tier.

I'm more about quality over quantity. If you think you can do more extra content at the same stellar status go for it definitely. But if it'll cut into time on the games and current stuff don't feel like you need to push yourself.

Thanks man! You are right, there are only so many hours in the month and I wouldn't want to impact the quality or scope of what I make by adding too many things to the list.

Will we be getting the latest animation most likely sometime this week or will it probably end up being release next week closer to the end of the month?

begrove

I'm about halfway through animating so it will be towards the end of the month. There's always something that doesn't render properly and needs redoing at the 11th hour 🙃

I love all your content and while I'm not super interested in learning the technical aspects I am interested in your writing process. Like how do you decide what youre going to do ?

begrove

I'd love to say there is a single process I follow but generally its just a balance between research, inspiration and keeping a variety of genres and mediums.
