JagoDibuja - Emmanuelle (Patreon)

 This is the colored version of a lineart that I had jagodibuja do for me.

To give you a little background about her, her name is Emmanuelle, as  the title says, and she’s a character from a French erotica novel of the  same name.  As well as a series of movies based on that book staring  Sylvia Kristel.  However, this particular version is from a series of  movies in which Emmanuelle, after losing her friend in a tragic car  crash, goes to Tibet for spiritual solace.  While she’s there, she is  told that she’s been chosen to be the “Reincarnation of all women”.  To  do this, she was given a special perfume that allows her to become young  again as well as “enter the soul of another woman”.  And so, with this  perfume, she sets about the world, seeing old friends and meeting new  ones and getting involved in their love lives and essentially fixing  broken relationships.

The tricky part about coloring this picture was mainly the hair.   Because the hair was wavy, it was tricky to figure out where the shadows  as well as the highlights would lie so I just went by feel on it.

In this picture, I also attempted to digitally paint a cherry but thanks  to some images I found here and there, it wasn’t as hard to do.   Though, why did I pick a cherry?  If you’ve seen the cover of the  original Emmanuelle film, you’ll see a cherry on it placed suggestively  above a set of lips.  So, I threw that in as a homage to the original.
