BTW, I don't think Vex's "connection" to the dragons is that deep. She's a ranger, and rangers have a "Favored Enemy" as a class feature. Hers happens to be dragons.

to help shed some light on Vax and his role as the champion of Death. he is there to protect death literally. people are suppose to die, so he is there to essentially hunt the undeath in the world.

Yeah, it's just hard to tell sometimes cuz most of the time, what are usually just game mechanics in DnD are translated into neat character or world building in this show
