Hey hey Patrons

We're back with ANOTHER CLASSIC ANIME and we are digging the cut of this show's jib!

It's future sci-fi, it's a western, it's got Blade Runner vibes, and it's a bunch of old geezers and eventually a Corgi!

It's COWBOY BEBPOP yall! And we are loving it so far!

We get some full-fledged "Mommy Milker" style fan service right before Mo CALLS IT AGAIN!

The imagery, the storytelling, the weirdly calming pace, we're locked in already, this is gonna be fun as hell!

Follow this exclusive link to hang!

Got a new MMM coming in HOT a little later tonight!

After this you should review Trigun. They came out around the same time and it kicks ass!

very Excited and I think having an Anime be like only 26 episodes will be neat for you guys too because you are so used to like EPIC 40-80 episode stuff haha for a long time there was this period where 22-26 was just the average for a lot of stuff.

Funny y'all mentioned the Star Wars prequels. Without George Lucas wanting to make Episode 1, we wouldn't have gotten this magnificent anime. The creator of it, Shinichiro Watanabe had an interview some time back and said that once news of George Lucas doing Episode 1 got out, the folks at Bandai wanted to make anime set in space and with ships to sell them as toys because they figured that there would be renewed interest in space. So Watanabe pitched Cowboy Bebop, but Bandai wasn't feeling it. One of their subsidiaries, Bandai Visual, picked it up, however and the rest is history. so yeah, without Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, we wouldn't have Cowboy Bebop

Take some time and zoom in on the text that flashes by in the intro. It explains what "Cowboy Bebop" is. Loosely: Bounty hunters are called "cowboys" (as in, "See you later, space cowboy"). The bebop is the style or milieu in which the story is told. The tune, the melody, as it were. Cowboy Bebop is the noir, free-style, finger-snappin', '50s avant garde beatnik poetry of anime. Each episode is a work unto itself, chapters in a loosely-connected overarching story. Kick back, put on your berets, smoke your smokes, drink your drinks, and snap your fingers.
